Back when I was a teen, I fell into the neocon version of baizuo. Believed parts of the world needed education to improve and that the shackles that blind them to that education needed to be removed by force if need be. Somewhere in my twenties before I got on the Trump train, I realized a people who spend 20-40 years knowing something don't just change. I used to be unsure of Trump but understood his following were doing what they knew from decades of living, while the Democrat youth hadn't even started to live.
I think maturity brought me over, cause after the election, I wanted less and less to do with the side that I felt only lived in an ivory tower and refused to think of nothing but "educating" those they did not understand. The TDS NPCs made me sick of the left. Then I came to realize the freedom of thought that could now be found on the right. Kavenaugh brought me fully onto the Trump Train. I was a voter in 16. By the end of 18, I was a supporter.
