Yeah. I'd say P365 is a great 9mm carry for men with smaller hands (me) or women. The 10-15 capacity mags on that small of a gun is pretty much unmatched.
Wife's hands are even smaller, though, so she's most comfortable with her P238. Fantastic .380. Feels solid and great to shoot.
365XL owner here. Love it. Can get a full grip no problem. Added rubberized talon grips for a little more thickness. 12 round capacity. Noticeably easier to EDC than a Glock 19 in my experience.
Store had them side by side. I'm not the most experienced with different types of guns, but it more closely resembled how my friend's Glock 19 feels in the hands, just with Sig's style.
I would imagine it shoots with slightly less recoil and would be far more comfortable to hold for anyone with larger hands than mine.
I have a Vortex Venom on mine, waiting on a laser bore sight so I can zero it. Just so you know depending on the RMR you want to get, you may need an adapter plate unless you get the Leupold it's cut for.
One theory I could see is that the barrel moving like that may aid in ejection/chambering. Barrel off-centre when shell needs to go out, barrel on point for the next round coming in.
No, there are plenty of guns that have a direct blowback bolt and fixed barrel .
The problem is increased recoil and weight from a heavy bolt. The tilting barrel slows down the unlocking of the barrel from the bolt so that more of the gas escapes out of the front end of the gun and it doesn’t blow up in your hand.
Some guns use heavy bolts, some guns use tilting barrels, some guns use rotating barrels (or bolts).
? You can read for yourself why the army chose the m17/m18.
The biggest difference between the m17 and something like the p226 is how easy the gun is to work on. The fire control group can be removed from the gun in about 15 seconds. There is a vast difference between the p320 and even other “modern” striker fired guns like a g17... which is in-itself way easier to work on than an m9 or m15.
That’s good then, i was watching a video like last week of jared from gun n gadgets talking about ones discharging even after the trigger upgrade. I don’t own any sigs I don’t follow it that closely I may have it mixed up.
Yea, there are actually a few differences. Loaded chamber indicator, different barrel lengths, optic ready slide.
But yea, pretty much every p320 is interchangeable with every other. I have one of my m17s essentially loaded out like like an x-five with the weighted grip and magwell. Could just as easily slap on my x-compact grip though.
Just find the version of the gun you want with the features you want. It can be tweaked. But you’ll end up just spending as much or more than just getting those features initially.
Man I’m so jealous. Went to a gun store and the only weapon they had was Beretta Tomcat 32 caliber. I took it figured it’s perfect for my wife she’s petite. Now I can’t find builders any where. fucking California. I don’t even want to tell you the process just to acquire this gun.
I bought my Sig P320 (3.9" barrel) this month and really like it. I also looked at the Walther PPQ M1 and really liked the grip but it was $25 more. H&K VP9 and S&W M&P Shield 9mm EZ were othersI liked.
In 9mm or .40s&w? I’ve never had a problem with sigs until I got that chambered in .40s&w. Every round would jam after being shot. I got a 9mm conversion kit, so if that still jams then it’s a problem with the assembly.
Nice gat, sigs are great guns. My next purchase will be a p365.
I thought the same thing about the p365 until I added the 12 rnd Sig mag and have room for my pinky now. Nice piece!
You should really look up NDZ grip extensions... They are perfectly machined and sublime
Will do, thanks!

Has anyone tried the p365 xl? XL hands here
Purchased it, and I love it. My piano fingers love it as well.

Lucky. My sig and glock only speak german to me, And my fn is stuck speaking french. How did you change the language settings?
glock19ftw
I want one of those, couldn't find one so I bought the FN 509 Tactical!
Nice!
Oh yeah!!!
Sexy af
How does it shoot? I heard that the sites could be better.

Forgive my ignorance but why is the barrel at such an angle?
Informative, thank you!

M17 is standard issue Army. M18 is standard issue Marines. Or so I've been told.

The gun is easier to clean, lubricate and repair
Don’t drop it

Much like fake news, people only pay attention to the initial headline. The correction after the fact is lost on people.
I don’t think watching a 20 minute video about is the same as reading a headline but okay
So is the only difference between this and p320 the safety? Like it!

That's the standard issue foe my county's Sheriff's department. That's a sexy gun.

I've been looking into getting a lately, does anyone have any preferences between walther, sig or browning?

thanks for the suggestions
I want this as my first carry. Just want to try p320 first before making the purchase. Otherwise I may be looking at a range of glocks.
Nice gun.
I just got the P320 compact..... Love it!!!
The best full sized 9mm on the planet today.

Debating between that and the 229 are my first firearm
Fully agree. Wife has one. Good looking gun that comes in a lot of styles and very compact. Size is deceiving. It shoots very well.
Still don’t understand why we couldn’t have just gone with the M9A3.
I have the M17. I can't really see a difference. Maybe the M18 barrel is a little shorter?
