The biggest difference between the m17 and something like the p226 is how easy the gun is to work on. The fire control group can be removed from the gun in about 15 seconds. There is a vast difference between the p320 and even other “modern” striker fired guns like a g17... which is in-itself way easier to work on than an m9 or m15.
