Didn’t expect this leftist garbage from a Baptist church.

Edit: thanks for the support pedes. My faith in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is not diminished. I’m just disappointed in the pastor. I will keep looking for a church that is rooted in God only.

That sucks. If you decide to part ways, make sure you express your opinion to leadership.

I pose this challenge to wokesters occasionally and they always respond in the affirmative that they would do it in a heartbeat. Give up their position? Sure. Give up their house? Sure. Accept destruction of their property or neighborhood over racial justice riots? Sure. Defund the police? Sure.

Of course they'll respond like this because they never imagine the progressive mob will genuinely come for them. Yet they're the first to cry for help when it actually does.

It's easy to agree when there's no threat you'll actually have to follow through.

My church cucked out over a month ago. Had a panel of black church members lecturing the white congregation on how they live in fear and we don't. Left an email with the pastor over my disgust that the church would contribute to this divisive time. Got a phone call from one of the pastors and he did the typical how do I difuse the situation without addressing the issue. I made him address it and told me I just didn't understand the message. Long story short told him agree to disagree and we are going to a different church.

Such pastors put the carriage before the horse, and will one day have to answer to God. Even assuming there was great inequality, how does focusing on such an issue get people closer to Christ? Even if their approach worked, the result would be people having a better life on Earth before dying unrepentant and ending up in hell.

Paul didn't waste time in his letters addressing the injustices of slavery, he just said if you can get free do it, but if not, be a good slave so that you can be a good witness of Christ to those around you, including your master.
