Edit: thanks for the support pedes. My faith in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is not diminished. I’m just disappointed in the pastor. I will keep looking for a church that is rooted in God only.

I think perhaps you could just be going to the wrong church. It's terrible that you may have to leave a community with people you know and care about. I try to keep in perspective that once the priest, pastor or basically whomever begin pushing their own spin on politics and religion, it's time to leave. It's in our best interests to figure it out for ourselves. I'm not comfortable with someone telling me how I should feel. (Also, I never get to talk to people about this so it's nice to see that I'm not crazy.)

I stopped going to church completely and I don’t think I’ll ever return. It’s too much of a virtue signal to attend. People don’t ever want to hangout, they just want to shake your hand at the beginning and then never speak to you again. The teachings are becoming more leftist and there’s an underbelly of trying to be cool and hip to attract new people. The country club vibe of it just bothers me as I get older.
The conundrum there is a swath of incompetent leadership drove away a lot of the young generations over the last 20 years and now that the leadership is even more incompetent, they're trying to bring them back by being libtarded. Protestantism in america is committing suicide, not being attacked or infected.
Great point. They are trying so hard to mimic social media trends to appeal to leftists. They just can’t seem to recognize that leftists are degenerates by and large. This is especially true for the younger ones so it’s another satanic inversion.
