Didn’t expect this leftist garbage from a Baptist church.

Edit: thanks for the support pedes. My faith in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is not diminished. I’m just disappointed in the pastor. I will keep looking for a church that is rooted in God only.

Unless it's protected by God from corruption...

"You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Jesus organized a group of people (a church) and gave them authority, promising that hell would never overtake them. He also sent out an authorized group of disciples and said "he who hears you hears me."

So at least some organized religion would seem to be incorruptible.
