My dad had a sweet gun collection, but my mother sold them all for peanuts because she was laid off her job 20 years ago. I try not to think about it.

Similar situation here. I would have loved to learn pheasant hunting or something. I do like fishing...

If it makes you feel any better, my grandpa had a sweet collection of WW2 militaria. We had an Type 99 with the Mum, to a Nazi SS sword (pretty sweet that a Jewish family had one lol). My Mom sold it, because she was afraid that my brother, and I would hurt ourselves with them.

My father would be proud of my growing firearm collection. It is a humble collection as it stands (with the Walther being my crown jewel). My father used to make his own ammo, and I'm thinking that is a great skill to learn right now.

I love the idea of jews protecting themselves with weapons that were once used by their enemy. I love what Israel is doing right now in the middle east. I also love stamps like the mum. I imagine you watch Gun Jesus on his youtube channel Forgotten Weapons, right?

That's an awesome skill to have, I have a friend of mine who reloads his larger caliber hunting cartridges. It's something I want to learn how to do too, especially for 5.56. I sure do! I've been watching his stuff since I've been in High School, so back in the early 2010s.

I have a small, but modest collection of stuff considering I just bought my first gun back in January. I've got an Yugo SKS all-matching, a weird, but cool "Frankenstein" Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk 1, a 10/22 "Second Amendment Edition", a Mossberg 500 20 Gauge for home defense, and finally an AR-15 in the M16A2 style. I hope to have way more then that one day, though haha.
