I don't even consider the Goya thing to be like partisan support but rather a normal stance for a staple food company. They are all doing pretty kick ass under Trump's economy, look at Kraft, Conagra and others. Goya just happens to be a "hispanic brand" so they should somehow not like him for that reason (which is just absurd).

I do miss chicken at Popeyes. I want bone-in spicy chicken with cajun sparkle. No, I’m not getting it to go. I want to eat it there and leave the mess there.
Time will tell on the sale. IIRC the idea was to get capital to expand outside of its current footprint (primarily the South). Hopefully the burgers don't go south
