Totally fair argument that no other flags flags should be flown on US bases, etc. I was objecting to the logic behind the statement. That being that because the confederates were at war with the "united states" and "a former enemy" that is the reason why the flag should be banned.
see the difference? i don't think it's off topic to point out the potential inconsistencies and also how this could directly extent to native american/indian symbols as well under the exact same logic as above.
i have no problem with an all out ban on outside flags on bases. i just dont agree with singling out the rebel flag on those grounds because it is inaccurate factually in a couple of different ways.
