A crew 10 to 12 people with hard hats, reflective vests, cones, tape, lights a work truck with no plates and all the tools. Two to three people in that truck to deliver material, direct work, strike the site when done or emergency.

A transport van, also no plates, for work crew. Driver stays in transport van. 2 to 3 people designated look outs and "community outreach".

Community outreach: "We are preparing a much bigger and better BLM mural. The mayor and city council are going big and we are supporting BLM."

Community outreach should look like workers keeping an eye on car traffic near cones and intersections, etc.

Everyone is masked up. Long sleeves, long pants. Boots. No jewelry. No political insignia.

Any trouble, workers hop in van, work truck crew grabs what tools they can and dumps in work truck. Calm demeanor. No running. Cones and road signs and flags are established in a similar fashion to what actual road crews use (they are easily pilfered and returned from actual public works projects in leftists union controlled shit holes - they leave them lying around everywhere). It is LARPing as a private contractor, if you are American you know what the scene should look like around a street construction project.

One person designated to talk to police if they arrive, risk potential arrest while stalling to allow crew and vehicles to pack up and prepare to leave upon contact with LEO. Rest of crew calmly backs up and loads equipment while designated party prepares for potential arrest or citation.

Details for deisgnated party to have on hand: name of city manager; name of public works director(s), name of council/alderman/supervisor for district the "work" is being performed in; company name, address, telephone number that does paving (pick at random from phone book).

Story: we were called on a high paying public works rush job, crew is hired by designated person to do this job, name of party in public works dept. is "Barry L Madderson" or "Will Farrell" or something that sounds like a prank.

Cops feel bad for private contractor being deceived by pranksters, see site being wrapped up, drop issue and let everyone leave.

Have I done this before? Yes. I have.

Never got to point of arrest or citation as bluffing and above details got PD to back off as crew packed up site over "confusion at our office about this contract". We were able to do "public works" work for about two miles along a major commercial thoroughfare.

A nice addition I never had but which would make this kind of activism worth it: Pede lawyers able to deal with any citations or arrests; small legal fund to pay for pede lawyers costs and any fines, bail, or fees.

EDIT: is there a list of BLM "murals"? When I did this kind of "work" I knew the addresses and did the tactical and political planning because I knew the site. Where are the murals located? That helps to get started making a little infographic for any wildcat teams to get cracking. Pedes can easily do the research on infil/exfil routes, political leaders names, company names, and get a crew of friends together to get 'er done. Republican party, neighbors, church members, any common social bonds are grounds enough and the "crime" you would be guitly of if caught is rarely even cited in liberal shit holes. Risk is now low.
