This. You can't change your DNA. Once it's in a database, thats it. If you have ever given blood for any reason, or a cheek swab for any reason, your DNA is on file. Congratulations, someone can now frame you for multitudes of crimes, along with many other even more sinsister things. Hell, even if you HAVEN'T ever donated any biologic material, all it takes is someone in your extended relatives who HAVE and they can identify you from that. Anyone who has ever done a 23 and me or ancestry.com test is literally giving their unique biological information away for free and you have no recourse as to what those companies do with it, its in their TOS.
I’m not convinced that donating blood or getting swabbed automatically enters you into a database searchable for this type of stuff. Perhaps they just do their test or donation and then they are done with your work
