It's why they tried to lock down Virginia, the southern entrance to DC, by getting rid of firearms. When things get forceful after the election, they don't want support streaming in from the south and to do that they need check points, and to keep your check points from going horizontal you need a populace disarmed -- or at least laws that allow you to 'justify' kicking in doors and rapidly disarming.
That was their reasoning for the sudden stupid acceleration in Virginia - because they absolutely had to. It wasn't as successful as they had hoped, but it wasn't unsuccessful either. And their violent contingency still relies on it.
Their priorities telegraph their intentions.
They intend to rig the election, they intend to have news and states 'call it' for Biden, and they intend to immediately rush in to arrest Trump and his staff if he doesn't immediately concede, and they have plans to keep you from rushing in to stop them.
It's easier than it at first seems because it's not a knock down drag out bare knuckle fight. Think of it as a game of chess.
Since they telegraph their intent, it's no different than seeing what pieces they move where. When they move a piece to threaten one of yours or a mate you don't need to destroy the piece in some total war reaction, just reposition so they know that you know to end that line of attack.
In this case, organizing a mass camping trip in northern Virginia immediately following election day squashes their coup avenue. Just 1,000 casting their ballots then going on cars and catching flights to pick a tent somewhere ends that avenue. We didn't decide that removing southern reinforcement was detrimental to their plan - they did. They telegraphed it. They told us exactly how to destroy that plan.
Like wise, each of us registering as poll watchers diminishes where and to what extent they can rig - not just about securing the presidency but countless seats in Congress. We've made headway there.
They are trying to end in person voting. They are telegraphing that they can't cheat as easily there any more, that they need absante ballots. See how they telegraph their plans and precisely what will kill them?

Step C) Get the word out and organize action
A and B are easy for me, but I've never been successful at 'C', I have no idea how to motivate individuals to action. We aren't NPCs waiting for programming.
