If to you, vampires & werewolves & God are worthy of the same understanding

But they have the same level of evidence. How can I possibly understand god better than werewolves when they both lack evidence, and evidence is what I would use to try and understand something?

How do you explain your id, the part of your consciousness that knows you are you & not someone else? How do you explain how the universe was formed & what was here before it existed? How do you explain near death experiences?

I don't think I need to have an explanation for everything before I can reject a claim that has no evidence.

It's perfectly acceptable to just say "I dont know". And just because I don't know, doesn't give your position any extra weight.
