Hey ladies and gentlemen I'm trying to build up a very small personal library and I thought I better get it sorted before the book burning begins.

I'm looking for a good world atlas that isn't filled with global warming propaganda, deleting Israel off the map, or any other crazy globalist shit. I realise this might be difficult in the modern era and atlas reviews are few and far between.

I've been looking at the Oxford World atlas but having university ties leaves me sceptical. Also don't worry I won't be buying these books from Amazon I'll be making sure to go through local book stores.

Thanks in advance pedes love from Australia.

Oh, pede...I could go on and on...

The American Revolution - Robert Sobel

Second Treatise of Government - John Locke

The Plague - Albert Camus

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress - Robert Heinlein

Autobiography - Benjamin Franklin

Wind, Sand and Stars - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Democracy in America - Alexis de Tocqueville

The Republic - Plato

Roughing It - Mark Twain

No Second Place Winner - Bill Jordan

The Cosmic Code - Heinz Pagels

Battle Cry of Freedom - James MacPherson

Storm of Steel - Ernst Junger

Paul Revere's Ride - David Hackett Fischer

The Prince - Niccolo Machiavelli

A Short History of Nearly Everything - Bill Bryson

This is just a good sampling of what every dead tree library should include. And you're right - get books now, actual books, before they are lost forever

Awesome thanks for the recommendations I've only read Storm of steel from that list and it was shocking honestly, can't wait to check more of those out.
