I saw a white paper years ago (don't remember who published) about a long term plan to destroy sports with a nationalistic flavor, i.e. football, baseball in America. They want international leagues only. The plan was to destroy them by grossly overpaying athlete salaries until people got sick of them and resented the ridiculous salaries and turned away and the sports implode.
Imagine thinking the NFL or MLB are national sports. The people that run NFL and to a slightly lesser extent the MLB hate this country. They could care less about any nation. The only thing they care about is can they expose the people of a nation to their propaganda. Football and Baseball might be national sports. The NFL and MLB are not national leagues, they are globalist corporations. If people of other nations want to play football or baseball, I have no problem with that as long as they do it in their own countries.
