Why in the hell are you watching professional football? Those dudes are all faggots. The white guys are mostly bending over for the left, and the black guys are all American hating sissies. Stop watching that BS, watch those paychecks fall off, and then watch those jackasses come around to patriotism. Then we can go back to enjoying that sport again.

54
Thingthing22 54 points ago +56 / -2

That will never happen. They'll kill the sport before "having racists in charge again." It's an economic cultural revolution. Marxism is here. Buy protection while you still can.

29
FuckPlebbit 29 points ago +30 / -1

I would have agreed before the attempted goya boycott, but after the sheer success they had, I think companies might rethink going full left from now on, obviously not a guarantee but we'll see.

If it ends up being more profitable to fuck off with the SJW cultural marxism they will, but we do need to root them out from the tech companies manually.

I don't know.... Commies have been known to repeat mistakes without learning... But that wasn't real socialism so we will try it again, and the retarded system fails, but that's ok, because it wasn't real socialism so we will try it again....

Yeah, this season will be the one where the owners see revenues plunge, and not just because of Controlavirus. When they grow a set, get rid of Goodell, and enforce some rules of patriotic conduct on players, maybe the NFL will come back. Until then, I am walking away.

7
CyclopticErotica 7 points ago +7 / -0

Goya happened because they went after a brand most people never heard of.

You can't boycott something you never heard of, but you can start buying it when you didn't before.

If they kill off professional sports, then good. If less people watched these self-important people play sports on the tube and instead actually went outside and formed real bonds with others in their community and actually played sports themselves it would solve a lot of problems.

Melting into your sofa and watching self-important jackasses you don't know and who provide no other skills or value to society get paid obscene amounts of money to play with other jackasses you don't know provides no value in your or in anyone's life. Use that time to do something worthwhile, get in shape, build something, and I guarantee you'll find better things to talk about around the water cooler. Nothing of value will be lost and if people reevaluate the importance of these people maybe we can get rid of D average student scholarships universities can get out of the business of pimping out college sports.

These people can join a clown school or join the circus if they want to pursue physical education.

Last year there were pictures of games played in mostly empty stadiums, thereโ€™s been a huge groundswell of anti-NFL sentiment since Kaepernick took a knee, yet the NFL and the networks keep up the mirage of โ€œhighest ratings everโ€. They will continue to prop up this corpse as long as possible, banking on the culture to change to fit their vision.

4
deleted 4 points ago +4 / -0
5
booblitchutz 5 points ago +5 / -0

That's what they said, they claimed it was the highest TV ratings for NFL ever. I don't suppose that could possibly be manipulated though.

5
Bizz408 5 points ago +5 / -0

It absolutely is. The NBA has been inflating ratings numbers since the Jordan era came to an end.

5
booblitchutz 5 points ago +5 / -0

People love to shit on televised baseball, but I find televised NBA to be the most intolerable to watch. I've been to NBA games live and it's quite a bit more engaging, but on TV it's just painful to watch.

Baseball on TV is calming and kind of soothing, just right for an afternoon in the AC in the summer. I feel the same way about golf on TV, if you can get over the expectation of wild action, it's pretty enjoyable to watch.

But NBA is just squeak squeak 2pts, squeak squeak 2pts, foul.. over and over and over and over and over and over...

1
Darunia75 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah they somehow took the most naturally entertaining sport and made it boring. Pickup basketball at my local rec center is more entertaining than regular season NBA games.

6
Brucesky420 6 points ago +6 / -0

My unpopular opinion, if you weren't already out of the NFL, you're not going to get out now. There's been plenty of reasons in the past decade to gtfo.

5
maddog_dad [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

You're probably right. I just wanted pedes to be aware of the subscription window so they wouldn't be automatically re-upped and then think, "Well, I've paid for it now -- Might as well watch it" when they had been planning to abstain.

2
DonJr2024 2 points ago +2 / -0

I will still do my fantasy football for fun and maybe watch a few quarters online. Won't pay for it though. Streaming only and just if I have a fantasy player of note to watch.

And I only do fantasy cause my friend dragged me in years ago and its a fun group of guys.

1
Darunia75 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think for me this year is different because my actual team is explicitly going along with it now. Iโ€™ve still been watching the last couple years because it was single players mostly on other teams. But the Packers put out a team video supporting BLM and parroting anti-white anti-American shit during the protests. I canโ€™t see myself watching anymore. If they all kneel game one Iโ€™m officially done.

1
AnywayAnyhowAnywhere 1 point ago +1 / -0

They did recently come out and actually endorse the kneeling though. That may have been the proverbial straw for some.

5

Lt-Aldo-Raine 37 points ago +37 / -0

DirecTV Now / AT&T TV dropped the NFL channel earlier this year.

As a former fan for 30 years who couldn't get enough NFL, absolutely zero fucks were given on that day.

Let's just see how well the blue-haired karens and BLM and antifa terrorists support the league.

NFL has painted itself into a corner with the social justice bullshit. They allowed this cancer to grow out of fear of mean words on twitter, now they can't backtrack and lay down a firm policy that everyone stands and shows respect for the anthem.

They could have nipped it in the bud years ago when it started, but they refused. Now they have no choice. Just goes to show, you do NOT give the left an inch.

Never.

3
booblitchutz 3 points ago +3 / -0

As opposed to what though? They let this cancer grow and now the players will walk out if they took a strong stand. The twit mob scares players too much (which is hilarious) for them to stand against a full walk out. NFL wonโ€™t risk their season, so they pretty much have to give in. Not saying they didnโ€™t WANT to already, just saying their alternative is shit, by their own action.

I gotta admit, I've now gone full "Fuck the NFL." I could sort of ignore the kneeling bullshit, even if I thought it was childish and a bit insulting, but the NFL is now going out of their way "picking sides". When I want to watch football, I want to watch football - I don't want any political messages, especially those with which I disagree. I doubt the NFL will even take a hit, but I wouldn't mind seeing that motherfucker burn to the ground.

My dad has always been a loyal team fan with season tickets, after BLM he cancelled his and rejected renewal for his seats. He said he won't even watch it on TV anymore. If feel bad for him, he dedicated multiple days a week to football and they basically turn their back on him for being white.

3
thetenman 3 points ago +3 / -0

Dont feel bad for him, his life is going to get so much more full and real. I was the same as your dad before 2016 now Iook back on all the time I wasted watching football and it makes me sick.

18
Louisianative 18 points ago +18 / -0

I doubt there will even be a football season anyway. Judging by the shit some of the players blitzed on social media yesterday theyโ€™re never gonna come to terms in regards to the chyna virus. Theyโ€™ll sit there and try to convince everyone they want to play and then demand outrageous terms that will never meet expectation.

7
booblitchutz 7 points ago +7 / -0

The WuFlu excuse is just a pretense to extort more cash, same as baseball.

6
JackOfDiamonds 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's so retarded. Any one of them could have gotten a flu any other season. You didn't see them sitting out for that shit. This virus does nothing at all to 99.9% of young, healthy people, and NFL players are among the youngest, healthiest people in the world.

3
Helly 3 points ago +3 / -0

3

Iโ€™m convinced he was forced to say what he said by his sponsors

3
Louisianative 3 points ago +3 / -0

Definitely. If he hadnโ€™t knees to the mob heโ€™d have been forced to retire early and probably been blacklisted from hall of fame for a long time, but he certainly wouldnโ€™t have lost mine or most fans respect.

3

Itโ€™s so fucking expensive too! No one should be paying more than $300 to watch football players disrespect our country for a few weeks . This year I imagine the games will be limited due to covid this year as well.

I got NFL Sunday Ticket when I first signed up for DirecTV like 4 years ago since it was free promotion. The following year, I cancelled. The year after, I had to cancel again. The year after that, yep, had to cancel again.

2

You'll probably have to kill the credit card. That was the only way I could stop NFL Game Pass. You have to deal with customer retention department. You might be right, but that is not a reason to not try. You might think a mountain is too high to climb or a bolder is too heavy to lift, but those things are irrelevant when the mountain needs to be climbed or the bolder needs to be moved. The fact is we have to send a message that we will not take this anti-white hatred laying down. Even if we do it alone, and even if we ultimately fail. I agree this is a hard job, but that did not stop our forefathers and it will not stop us.

1
