Edit: I haven't watched pro football in several years. I just saw a related post and thought I'd alert those who are subscribed that apparently July is the unsubscription window. If the woke corporations are going to turn a game into a political crowbar, based Patriots should react as their conscience guides them, and that might include canceling a subscription.

Last year there were pictures of games played in mostly empty stadiums, thereโ€™s been a huge groundswell of anti-NFL sentiment since Kaepernick took a knee, yet the NFL and the networks keep up the mirage of โ€œhighest ratings everโ€. They will continue to prop up this corpse as long as possible, banking on the culture to change to fit their vision.

That's what they said, they claimed it was the highest TV ratings for NFL ever. I don't suppose that could possibly be manipulated though.

It absolutely is. The NBA has been inflating ratings numbers since the Jordan era came to an end.

People love to shit on televised baseball, but I find televised NBA to be the most intolerable to watch. I've been to NBA games live and it's quite a bit more engaging, but on TV it's just painful to watch.

Baseball on TV is calming and kind of soothing, just right for an afternoon in the AC in the summer. I feel the same way about golf on TV, if you can get over the expectation of wild action, it's pretty enjoyable to watch.

But NBA is just squeak squeak 2pts, squeak squeak 2pts, foul.. over and over and over and over and over and over...
