Not all atheists are liberal. If I had to guess it's more like 50 50 and the conservative ones stay very quite. source my small atheist group that meats every week is mostly about drinking beer around a camp fire and talking about MAGA.
Spez: There's the atheists who don't really think and it's mainly a middle finger to their conservative dad. That's pretty much r/atheism. Then there's the free thinkers who have seen through years of puritanical religious bs and now are weirded out that the "secular" left is pushing it.
The funny thing about the church of Satan is that they don't think any of that shit actually exists. It references Satan pretty much to troll. Church of Hedonism would be a more accurate name.
I grew up fundamentalist Christian. Went to Bible School. Started an atheist club in college, then stopped participating with that crowd because it was mostly about Christianity bashing instead of personal growth.
For those interested, I just want to note that there is a library of books that explore the evidence of afterlife from a purely scientific (non-religious) angle.

No, there are not. By definition anyone "exploring" this idea is doing it from a religious angle. The closest you can get to a "scientific" discussion would be hypothesises about euphoric oxygen deprivation/the brains ability to "backfill" memories/ and common trauma responses.
Assuming a baseline Christian theology, no one would immediately enter the afterlife. They'd all be waiting for the day of judgement to be reborn as incorruptible.
But, let's say we still want to believe in a higher power with an afterlife. The people who claim to have seen it STILL can't be correct. It would require an infallible God to be fallible in letting someone who wasn't dead "dead" in, -OR- strangely powerless against the human doctors who are dragging the soul back from the afterlife.
So, is this God fallible, or just weak against CPR?
Make no mistake, i love those of faith, it's a great thing. An incredibly high percentage of the faithful raise their children well and contribute positively towards society at large. And, I have exactly zero issue with them wanting to take their faith on, well, faith. But, let's not pretend there is any actual evidence, because by default there can not be. If God were interested in proving his existence, He could simply show up, or perform any number of incontrovertible acts. Instead we get at best easily explained subjective "evidence" which can not have anything to do with the almighty, since His goal can not possibly be "convince a few with easily disproven miracles". Well, i mean it could be His goal, but that would make God a real dick for giving us skepticism and not providing actual evidence.
I disagreed with that but respected the fuck out of it.
Just stop it, you're making me cry Red, White, and Blue.
It’s about time we started using their own playbook against them

Yes... Greg Gutfeld is very conservative, & is an atheist. Invite him to your beer drinkin' group.

Can confirm. As an atheist pede this is exactly what happened

Regardless of what they believe, they all serve demons.

Thank you for this great synopsis. I just learned a lot.
It's Baphomet, actually. And there are kids at his feet.
They're all pedophiles. They simply can't help but rape kids.
