It is impossible to overstate how important this moment is.

What is happening in Portland is a violent mob of rioters, looters, murderers, vandals and thieves has been allowed to run rampant in the name of the political goals of the local and state government. These are not protesters - these are insurrectionists. The leadership of Portland and the State of Oregon decided that their political goals rank higher than the lives and livelihoods of people whose existences are being torn apart by the riots. They are endorsing and in some cases openly leading a violent uprising against the government of the United States.

A peaceful protest does not destroy property, it does not intimidate the passerby, it does not block thoroughfares and it does not result in injuries and deaths. And it is protected by the Constitution. What is happening in Portland and other lib shitholes is a direct challenge to the United States of America. This is why it is important that the Feds step in forcefully - we are either a country that does not allow insurrection and protects its citizens, or we are not a country at all.

Either this ends now, and as violently as it has to - or it does not matter anymore who wins in November, because by this time next year there will not be a United States at all.
