National Enquirer has very often proven to be correct about stories-many times years after first “breaking” them-meaning that their “sensationalism” is actually accurate investigative journalism.

This is all very dated terminology. Print newspapers are almost extinct anyhow at this point.

And it also happens to be true that tabloids are often garbage. Large format papers are also often garbage nowadays as well.
