They said that legalizing gay marriage would deeply damage society. Now here we are, 36 different genders, children sexually confused, depression at all time highs especially for young boys and girls, children sexualized, drag queens normalized, and when you think about all the SJW and PC culture that stemmed from that, the damge is irreparable, it goes on and on and on

The way I rationalize traditional morality to unbelievers:
Do you believe in the Golden rule (do as you would be done by)? most say yes
Do you believe the contra positive to the golden rule (don't do as you wouldn't be done by)? most say yes here as well
The natural conclusion to this rule is what you can call the 'anti-privilege rule' that is, when deciding to do any action, consider the consequences of everyone doing that same action. If those consequences would be disastrous, then you should't do it either. In other words, you shouldn't take up selfish privileges that others cannot enjoy, to do so would in effect be doing to others as you would not have them to do to you.
From that simple rule, Biblical morality makes a lot more sense.
