I was reading something recently that was talking about how even with as widespread the campus protesting and rioting was in the late 1960s (millions and millions of entitled youth for years on end), it pretty much ended overnight after the four students were shot at Kent state. I mean obviously there was endless bitching and moaning about the incident itself but supposedly the protests pretty much went away. I gather that once it became apparent they could actually die it wasn’t a lot of fun anymore. Just putting that historical observation out there.
