I know where ya'll are coming from when you say that stimulus checks reward the lazy, and contribute too much to our national debt...

BUT SENDING OUT A FEW WAVES OF STIMULUS CHECKS WILL GET PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR TRUMP! LETS GO!

I'm broke. I need another stimulus check because I want to finish my AR-15.

End the fed (and you won't need a stimulus check ever again)

stop all bailouts, since 98% of the money goes to rich (corporations)

Stimulus checks will get people to vote for Trump. Plus, Trump can use it as political leverage. There are better ways to get people to vote for our cause, and better ways to crush the opposition politically, but a few rounds of stimulus checks can keep the depression at bay.

It would be better if all of our unemployment insurance payments were refunded to us right now, when we need it the most, but that would be incredibly difficult.

Ideally, the stimulus checks should reflect how much someone paid in unemployment insurance, but a sweeping round of checks is OK with me. Fuck the debt.

George W Bush gave us a stimulus check that was bigger than Trump's stimulus check.

I dont think so. Bush's was 600 per adult 1200 per couple. Trumps was double that

Sorry Brother, not everyone got a stimulus, and not everyone got the same amount, even accounting for proportionality. When deposited, will use, but would never seek, request, or endorse. Slavery is a state of mind.

I know that companies got a huge bailout, but I'm not endorsing that. Ideally, only taxpayers would get a payment, but I'm happy with a middle ground.

I saw it as the government (i.e.-my taxes) paying me to get a gun. If a second round comes, I'm paying-off my Beretta and getting a 5th for my collection.

I hope you already bought ammo.

I've got a bunch of ammo for the other firearms I own... but I haven't bought any .556 yet.

By the way, when I build my AR-15 with my American made lower receiver, what part/parts of my build will determine if it can handle .556 and not just .223?

The barrel will have the chambering, you can shoot .223 in a 5.56 barrel, you shouldn't shoot 5.56 in a .223 barrel. .223 wylde I believe will shoot both.

ProudBoyGavin [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

Yeah, I want it to be a 5.56 ... I just wasn't sure which part/parts of the build was going to determine if it was .223 or 5.56

And thanks for letting me know its 5.56 and not .556

Building this thing is going to be so much fun. I'm going to learn so much

why are people so excited to get the money the government stole from them back?

You answered your own question!

I don't think you understood the question.

It's a tough call. There are still a lot of people out of work. Think of the people who work concert venues, nor sporting events. Whether it's concession stands, maintenance, cleaning, electricians, whatever. That's an entire field of work that's done for the year. And it's mostly all low income households.

Property management in general. If every office building In a city has 3 or 4 cleaning staff. That's thousands that have no job to go back to stilll.

Obviously no one wants to increase the debt. But mass poverty isn't really an option either. It was dumb from the start to do a base $600 a week income. Knowing damn well most people don't make that much. But we desperately need something.

There are also companies that are just now starting their layoffs, and plenty of families who couldn't even take advantage of the stimulus since they had a job then.

  • End fractional reserve banking (banks need to have cold, hard cash in order to create a loan)
  • End the Fed
  • Congress MUST print enough cash each year to keep deflation from occurring, roughly comparable to the total increase in economic activity each year.
  • By my calculations, if we end ALL welfare spending, entitlement programs, and keep cutting regulations like President Trump is doing, and we cut taxes to 0%, then we should be able to print enough money to fully fund the government, and if we don't print that much money, we'll hit a deflationary spiral.
  • In the near future (~10 years), economic growth will quickly overtake the federal budget, so congress needs to find a way to spend that cash. I am sure they will simply send it to the states so they can cut taxes to 0% as well.
  • In about 20 or 30 years, there will be more money than government will know what to do with, and even consumers won't know what to do with all the money, leading to a paradox where government might require that we spend a certain amount of money that they send us or face some sort of penalty for saving too much.

We live in an age where we are hyper-productive, and if we are fully unleashed from the shackles of government control, we can produce more wealth than we will ever know what to do with.

Ending the Fed makes sense... but it is too big of an ingrained institution to just end.

2
jgardner 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's a corporation formed by the banks. They tell government how much money to print, then government gives that money to them, then the Fed loans it out at interest. It's a scam.

No. I don't mind the unemployment part because it goes to people who have local governments that are keeping things closed in an effort to ruin trump. The payroll tax abolishment is the best option. Also a one time draw from SS would be nice. But the USA can't keep printing money.

I propose the following.

  1. Upon reaching the age of 18, every able-bodied male receives military equipment. They also get a range pass, where they can go to any gun range and redeem their coupons for ammo and time at the range to practice with their arms. In fact, NOT going to a range and shooting X amount of rounds in a period of time could be considered a crime, punished with PT and more range time.
  2. Every adult male is also required to attend mandatory training, perhaps every 6 months at first, then every year once they reach 26 or something. There, they are trained in the proper usage and maintenance of their military arms. They are also trained in how to keep in physical condition.
  3. It will be a crime to not have your military arms and armor in good working condition, as well as proper physical condition, with a stockpile of plenty of ammo which the government will provide. We can test them at regular intervals to ensure they are keeping fit and keeping armed.
  4. If someone is to become disabled, then they can return their military arms and armor and be relieved of duty. Similarly, once they reach a certain age they can opt-out and return their equipment and be relieved of requirements.

I'd like to see mandatory military service at the age of 18 as well. Or at the very lease, the summer immediately after graduating from high school.

My grandfather (a WWII Lt. Col.) always said the same thing. He said if we had that we wouldn’t have as many disrespectful assholes around.

Yes sir! We need a few of them... preferably BEFORE the election so we can win over some undecided voters
