The guy has a motive though. It would make more sense for someone to have murdered the judges son and then dressed up someone else with a motive and make it look like he was the shooter.
The person responsible for the shooting was not professional. Seemed like a forced action. Lots of questions and lots of fake news. With the FBI involved you can bet we will never know.
My guess is that if we ever get to see security footage from the judge's home, this dead attorney will not have the same height and weight as the shooter did.
