If anything bad happens to Trump then I would expect lots of bad things to happen to lots of people. The media, the deep state actors, and everyone on the left would become targets. Everyone is holding back because they feel, either consciously or subconsciously, that their guy is in charge and will fight for them. Trump’s safety is a red line. They don’t know for sure what would happen if they cross it and they likely don’t want to find out. They’re keeping Trump safe not because of what they think he will do to them, they’re keeping Trump safe because of what they think we will do to them. All of them.
