What makes you think the found body is the killer? I imagine a professional assassin would go out and find someone who looks similar enough first, kill them, stash the body at a pre-determined location, then carry out the hit. No one looks for you if they think you're dead.

It’s pretty easy to determine time of death. I don’t think he would have been able to kill the look alike first.
