I'm afraid you're right. Americans have been fed the 'Democratic party is the party of the people' for a hundred years. I'm voting as conservative as I can this election. And I'm not a religious man, give gays their rights, let plan b/very early term abortions be legal but not encouraged, I don't care if people want immigrate here as long as it's legally done.
How does that make me a bad person? The liberals would say my views are alt right and smell of white supremacy. Fine. You're gonna get the most religious person I can find, elected.
I feel like a bunch of people are like me. I know rural America has to be thinking similar. I don't know many conservatives from cities, but I just assume they are quiet. Like a reasonable, CONSERVATIVE would be. We aren't going to get on Twitter and say look at me.
