This term actually marks a shift in the argument behind racism.
It is getting harder and harder to find examples of specific personal racism in the real world.
Instead, the blame for racism is shifted from a "person" to the "system" so that it can be blamed without a specific action behind it.
Thus, the only possible reaction to combat this "systemic racism" is to tear down and rebuild the system with the opposite of the imagined racism in mind. Where the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person Of Color) community is lifted above all others.
I never thought of it that way. It likens to many people's desire to discuss group identify instead of individual thought.
Our laws are founded on the principle of equal treatment under the laws, and due process of law. Systemic racism is a term that means that the laws are wrong.
We can read the laws, and tell that it's not true.
Then, to find out what's really going on, we can ask what they want as a remedy.
They want money, waiver of laws, Capitalization of one race but not others, jobs based on race at he expense of competence.
They want to INTRODUCE systematic racism.
Of course OP. Many of this have been pointing this out for some time, it’s what the Left does always. Make some invisible boogey man that cannot be proved or disproved the leading issue to enact change.
Agreed, just doesn't hurt to put it out there a little clearer to make sure everybody knows.
