Uh, it does. Haven't you ever seen the movie? The place where Pinocchio and those other delinquent boys were taken was indeed called Pleasure Island. Remember the movie came out around 1940, much different times back then.

Heck, there's even a section of Downtown Disney in Disney World called Pleasure Island. Pleasure wasn't synonymous with sex back then, just like gay meant happy and queer meant strange.

I can't remember if it was called Pleasure Island in the original book by Carlo Collodi, though.

Nah, Stromboli had nothing to do with it. Pinocchio had already escaped Stromboli and made it home to Geppeto but trying to go to school again the next day, Honest John accosted him again and brought him to the coachman.
