Yeah, forcibly sterilizing people or geocoding them is wrong. But the theories that race scientists came up with have undeniable explanatory power for how certain countries have developed more that others. And physical features, IQ and personality factors are observably grouped racially/ sub racially. I don't see how that's at all controversial when viewed through the lens of heritability of traits, low prevalence of mass-migration in history, and population growth, etc. I have no doubt that if computer science was applied to race science through data that a "non-racist" would say has nothing to do with race, one would come up with the same racial categories that the scientists of the past came up with.

In my experience with the liberal people I know, their immediate go-to insults are always focused on race, so yes, I'd definitely say that they're projecting.
It's been awhile since I checked, but a year or two back there were only like 800 hate groups nation wide, many of which who were black power groups or groups based on hating things beside race, like anti-gay.
Most groups had less than a hundred members. Some were larger, but most were fringe groups like the proud boys. Truth is, over 99% of 7s are not white supremacists.
Even if you pretended that they were all white power groups, and they all had enough members to each sell out soldier field (say, 61,000 members) that would be 49 million white supremacists. That's a lot! Except there are 328 million people in usa... meaning it would still only be 15% of the population; meaning 85% of us still would not be white supremacists.
