That assumes school 52 weeks a year. Probably more reasonable to have 12 weeks off in the summer 2 for Christmas and 1 for spring break. That would still be $92,500.
The problem is that I still get TAXED for the schools, even if they shut down and my kids not going to them...then to pay on top of that for homeschooling, ugh. This is a GREAT solution and I am on board, but only if every in my city with me all votes to remove the school taxes.
I'm surprised this didn't pick up sooner. I'm in PA where there are lines of kids waiting to be teachers. #1 slippery rock university is a big, wellknown teachers university--or it used to be. #2 we pay our teachers 75,000 a year and they do shit. There are a lot of young people looking for teaching positions in my area. This covid crap didn't work well for the private schools though. My daughter's private school closed down. We should have a right to send our tax money to local private schools. Some competition between schools would probably bring that 60% literacy rate up, but that's not the liberal agenda so.....
We have always homeschooled. Wife talked to our supplier today, who said we better order early because demand is UP. Look out, dems, you just may have played yourself out of a generation.
That is the solution. And there are so many resources and parents that would appreciate it.
