They can vote for him sure... but Transgenderism is not compatible with Traditional American Values or Conservatism, and they are not on our team. Period.
Agree. My take on it is very similar to how I view addiction and substance abuse problems, and this is based off my past experience as an addict, researching addiction, and having been in recovery for years. To me, anyway, it's almost the exact same condition, with the person suffering very similar mental problems, and the symptom of coping with those mental issues is the only difference. In one case it's drug use as the coping mechanism, in this case it's thinking changing your gender will solve those issues. Suicide numbers tell us it won't solve anything. That said, addiction and substance abuse can be overcome, and when it is, the person comes to understand that the drug use wasn't so much their problem as it was a solution (that stopped working) to an array of other problems. After that is realized, and you understand drug use won't help you cope with your mental issues, it becomes easier to stop and stay clean. This is the same thing with gender dysphoria. In both cases, you have to recognize your mental issues, understand what's wrong, accept who you are as a person and that no substance, sex change, or any external force is what will make you better. Allowing and enabling sex change/trans, to me, is no different than enabling drug use, telling someone w/ body image issues it's ok to be bulimic, etc.
And I have no sympathy for the "well how would you feel if you didn't feel comfortable in your own body?" argument that I always get as a response when I state my belief. Like, that's literally the human condition: feeling uncomfortable, not liking things about yourself, and coming to terms with who you are, accepting the things you cannot change, and taking the initiative to change the things you can about yourself, and whatever it is you don't like. I do know what it's like to feel uncomfortable in my own body -- men go through very similar issues as women do w/ an expected body image, etc. I went to the gym to change what I could, and accepted that my dick is the size it is for the things I couldn't change lol (here comes the ball busting -- bring it! lol). My fiancee (very similar beliefs and values to me) has mentioned a few times she wants a boob job (they aren't even small!) and I always have to kind of run through this same lecture and tell her that changing that shit about yourself isn't going to make you happier, just be happy with who you are.
On a side note: I remember a couple, a female, and a trans female to male, came into the garage where I used to work, and I was under the hood with a coworker, and we were racking our brains trying to figure out (knowing that it was two biological females): "sooo.... are we dealing with lesbians? or is this a straight couple? But she's still a she," and we're just quietly going back and forth asking each other these questions trying so hard to not just bust out laughing. Good times. I really miss working in the garage for that reason, where we all had no filter, our personalities could be fully let out, etc. Breakbacking work that didn't pay great -- now I work at a college for way more pay and less work but I basically have to be an actor every day at work, kinda sucks ... ight I'm rambling now.
Everyone: trans or not: we all got problems -- identify and acknowledge them, find the right and healthy way of dealing with it, know that nothing external will solve those internal issues, change what you can, accept what you can't !
Well said. I too am a recovering addict and couldn't have said it better myself. Whether it was going fast on my street bike, sex, or drugs, I just wanted that rush to escape what I thought was a bad life. Then I had my daughter, and started bettering myself for her, not just for me. Started going to the gym, started taking her to the park and going on dinner dates with her mom, my now wife. Started teaching her about God and in turn taught myself. And I became happy with my situation. Drug use is very similar to transgenderism in how they aren't comfortable in their own life and want to change it. But that will just cause more problems eventually and is not the solution. MAGA brother, here's to my 7 years coming up in August and I wish you the best.
Awesome, congrats brother, and thanks for sharing! Recovery, and really "walking the walk," is what really cemented my conservative values. I was always more right leaning, but more in a kind of hippie libertarian way, But getting clean and being a responsible human for close to a decade, and seeing the real-world results of personal responsibility/accountability had a huge influence on my worldview and ideology
Recovering addict/alcoholic, as well. Also, I’ve come to the same conclusions as you. I’ve been researching all this transgenderism stuff the last few years.....and just, wow! Check out a guy on YouTube named Benjamin Boyce. If you haven’t seen this guy on YouTube and his research on transgenders, far left, anti racism, neo Marxism, Evergreen State, etc....I would recommend checking him out. His research on transgenders and these girls who have rapid onset gender dysphoria at a young age is incredibly enlightening. He shows how everyone is looking to be a victim in this day and age and how they cope (I’m like can’t just tail out a fat line, bang a little boy, or pop some percs like we did.....just kidding)! Anyways, Boyce has done some amazing work, especially of late diving into the far left cult and all their insane blm stuff. People really are seeking out ways to cope, and the left is indoctrinating them with radical ideas, that is helping to destroy our country! It’s fucking nuts.
Thanks, and likewise! I haven't checked out Boyce (I don't think... name does sound familiar, though) but I'll be sure to, today. I've been trying to get an online presence up and running doing similar work, but more exposing academia's role in all this (since I'm really deep inside enemy territory now), and trying to currently get thesis approval to do similar work to that of Prof. Boghossian, J. Lindsay and H. Pluckrose (they did the "grievance studies" affair), but I'm (obviously) having a very hard time finding anyone to work with and getting past the gatekeepers. I'm done with all my classes, and I've basically now been sidelined/benched because of my views and the research I'm trying to do, with them preventing me from working on my thesis. It's unreal, but I'm not stopping: they will either allow me to do my work, or I'll figure out some legal way to get all tuition, including scholarships, time wasted, etc, refunded. If all else fails, I've documented everything and I'll just write a book and have it published outside of academia, and name-drop everyone, every school, etc (which would be far more damaging than what my thesis is seeking to do, which is far more objective and won't bring any particular individual or institution into it)
I mean, you either want help or you don't. I really don't care. But if you want to fit in and be treated normally by me then that's on you. I'm offering help. That's where my line is drawn. No compromises. Or they can hit the road to Canada or Iraq or wherever else they want to go
I think we can all agree that we should not be actively harassing or persecuting Trans people.
However, there have to be a couple of rules set up here:
Trans people should be left alone ON THE CONDITION that they leave regular people alone. It is not needed to push "diversity" in the workplace, or have parades with naked people flinging dildos around.
They should stay the hell away from schools. Let kids grow up without any indoctrination. Give the kids at least 'till 18 to decide what they want. If the kid was meant to be trans, guess what, by 18 they would know already either way, right?
Should they opt to seek help, they should be welcomed, and help sought for them with love and kindness.
Should they opt to embrace their condition, they should fight for leaving others the fuck along, which means they should fight for points 1 and 2
Thanks, as a TransPede, not all of us are like the lunatic Left.
I agree with everything you mentioned, especially leaving the kids alone to grow up without indoctrination.
My mental condition should be mine only and those that honestly and truly share it, not less than .01 of the population.
My belief is genuine, real Trans people should keep their life happy, stay out of people's business and let live while living.
I'm tired of the screeching Left, Marxist, He She wannabe's, they make us look REAAAAAALLY bad.
I have no problem with you. I'm not an mental health expert, and have no way to be able to decide if your condition is normal or not. But what matters in the end is that you're happy. No one wants people to suffer. But people like you are being hijacked into the Marxist movement to destroy the West, and those of you who love the West, need to stand up against the idiocy.
I stand with you and everyone else, there is no room for fighting or arguments, we need to work together and even the right needs to work on it as we do, but the Left is a LOST cause.
I don't blame you, I get it too, because I pass so well, I would be considered Transphobic for even misgendering a Leftist lunatic, it's not just you and others, it includes me and other Trans and Right Wing LGBT people too.
They can vote for him sure... but Transgenderism is not compatible with Traditional American Values or Conservatism, and they are not on our team. Period.
Agreed. I'm all for getting them the mental help they deserve, but calling it normal does not coincide with my values
I hope they all get help someday too. It's an extremely sad mental illness.
Lol I would, but maybe you are a better man than I am.
Ewwwwww!!!!! Thanks (not) for that horrid mental image!!!! What a butt ass ugly woman he would make!!!

leaving them alone never works out. we are on the verge of a second civil war because we left everyone alone.
I am curious, what are you doing in your life to follow what you have written here?
agree
I like alternative women, not the religious kind. Bisexual women are a good fit for us Transbians :)
I don't blame you, I get it too, because I pass so well, I would be considered Transphobic for even misgendering a Leftist lunatic, it's not just you and others, it includes me and other Trans and Right Wing LGBT people too.
They stick it on all of us.
yes there is
Few people ever address that, thank you.
I am.
