My point of view on this: I'm agnostic (siding a bit toward belief). I know The Bible (at least the NT) pretty well. It's clear The Bible has something against homosexuality.
It does not tell you how to fix that problem though, other than repent. I'm not sure what that means.
I remember a preacher had the best advice I've ever heard anyone give: Take your cross and carry it. That means, if you are homosexual, you need to resist the temptation and seek a straight relationship instead.
I know that sounds insane. Hear me out on this:
I'm not even sure there is a God or not. I do know 99.9% there is no eternal torture (the whole concept of Hell is a huge misunderstanding).
BUT if I were to believe that God was going to punish me, and I were straight (as I am) but the Bible said sleeping with a woman was a sin, and that I needed to sleep with a guy instead, or I was damned forever, I sure as fuck would be stroking the next guy I could get.
If I had to do that, I could live with it.
Now if you're not religious, then it doesn't matter.
