I got curious as someone who likes to look at the ingredients.. In the interest of full transparency, here's what you're actually eating: WHEAT FLOUR, SUGAR, PALM OIL, COCOA POWDER, GLUCOSE SYRUP, SODIUM BICARBONATE AS LEAVENING AGENT, CALCIUM CARBONATE AS LEAVENING AGENT, SOY LECITHIN AS EMULSIFIER, SALT, AMMONIUM BICARBONATE AS LEAVENING AGENT, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, SODIUM METABISULFITE AS ANTIOXIDANT.

*I'm most concerned about ammonium bicarbonate, which is an irritant to the skin, eyes and respiratory system. It degrades readily to carbon dioxide, water and ammonia. Ammonium bicarbonate from China used to make cookies was found to be contaminated with melamine. source
I appreciate this raw truth friend no fake news here
My pleasure brother.
Thanks for disclosure but AMMONIUM BICARBONATE IS SAFE, I think.

Also many dangerous sounding chemical agents in food are just not that dangerous in concentration found it foods. For example vinegar - the most natural form of sour flavour in food - could have given you chemical burns in high concentrations which doesn't mean that your pickles are dangerous to eat.
Just noting that our bodies routinely deal with low doses of ammonia - that's pretty much where the Urea in urine comes from.

Sodium Chloride and Dihydrogen Monoxide are quite dangerous sounding.
Wouldn't that mean heating / baking with these poses a risk?

It's the way to go :)
If you put sodium bicarbonate in your shoes it will eat up the skin on your feet, but it will also kill fungus and bacteria, so pick your poison i guess lol.
