Orchestras are not to "reflect the communities they serve." They're to reflect the intention of who wrote the music they perform.

Anything else is horseshit, including the notion that blind auditions were created to hire more women. The bias they were concerned with removing was favoring people they knew.

Hire who sounds best and can play the part correctly, with the best rhythm and style. You know, merit!
