We aren't just getting DoS attacks, if that was the only adversity the admins and site was forced to overcome you'd never have heard about it. Almost every site on the internet with any traffic whatsoever deals with DoS attacks.
The problem is there are different types, each with varying degrees of success.
Probably made the 50cent army's hot list. They are required to check in for directives I think every hour or something ridiculous like that.
