Yup, giants kneeled yesterday. Take a look at the MLB instagram account too, if you want even more of a reason not to watch. No Fourth of July post, but near daily posts on BLM
Instead of MLB staying out of it when players vocalized that baseball shouldnt be politicized, MLB rallied to the kneeling Giants defense.
Im legit done, if Manfred wasnt bad enough.
Ive spent hundreds if not well over a thousand bucks past couple seasons going to games. I truly appreciate all my money and time saved on watching this horse shit.
Guess I got more money to throw towards Uncle Dana and UFC.
Yeah I stopped playing fantasy sports back in 2016 and stopped watching sports at all by 2017 and I can’t tell you how liberating it has been to have all that time and attention and mental energy back. It truly feels like being freed from mental slavery. I didn’t even know I was trapped.
Couldn’t believe it I was outraged yeah I expect nfl to do it but the mlb LITERALY PROMOTED IT ON ITS INSTAGRAM I’m fucking disgusted. Never watching these scumbags ever again
So disappointed. Most stood but a couple knelt including the lame new coach. Crawford stood with hands on the shoulders of kneeling team mates which
I thought was classy
Yep. I tried to watch the Cubs and Sox Sunday night, and it sucked. I might have been ok if I could have heard Len and JD, but the espn broadcast bored me to tears.
I was planning ti sign up (again) for MLB.tv... but this kneeling bullshit leaves a very VERY bad taste in my mouth.
If the game is on ESPN, I mute the TV and listen to WCBS for the Mets. And sometimes I don’t even leave the TV on I just go straight for the radio broadcast.
I tried to find a Chicago radio station with the Cubs broadcast so I could do that, but apparently there were none available for that game, for non MLB subscribers.
Someone on /r/chicubs said "the radio rights are owned by MLB. you have to go through the MLB at bat app for radio."
Most parks were like that before the pandemic. Its a silly boring game, sports fans are as brain dead are you can get, and this is coming from a guy who tattooed the seattle seahawks on his body, I know first hand.
I’ve been to a few Cubs game when I lived in Chicago and never made it through an entire game at the stadium.
It’s insanely run down and uncomfortable. The seats are uncomfortable to
sit in and the restrooms are some 3rd world shithole design.
Their “kitchens” and food options are garbage as well. I had a strong income so the pricing wasn’t unaffordable, but at $15/beer it was obnoxious as hell.
Usually Id go With a date during a weekday we took off in summers. Sit through to third or fourth inning (where I’ve now spent over $150 easily) then go to a local bar to eat better food and drink cheaper while we watched on tv.
If you’ve never been to wrigley the history will be fun for you. But after the first time you realize it’s all a scam. People say it’s cool to fit in, it’s honestly a decrepit money pit that fleeces fans very badly
Neighbor is a lifelong fan and sports writer. He has some pass and is able to go into any baseball game. He couldn't watch it without fans and turned off the game after 2 minutes
Can't believe MLB has been compromised now, too. America's past time is on twitter being disingenuous about this shit.
"It's not about disrespecting the anthem or flag." Then why are you kneeling during the anthem... while people salute the flag...?
If it wasn't about disrespecting the anthem and flag you'd all kneel together at the mound/half court/midfield after the anthem. You'd get just as much coverage and wouldn't come off as disrespectful lying pieces of shit.
Sniveling little millennial SJW's have infiltrated the the front offices of every highly public facing institution, or even more impactful, their "social media department", something that sprang into existence at every company everywhere all at once.
Positions in that department at these places are almost always given to the same type of whiny little purple haired cuck or feminist who use them as a platform to push their own political opinions and agendas and often encouraged to do so or at least not tempered in doing so.
I've always done a hard-eye roll whenever I saw companies that never had a "social media department" or "director of social media/marketing" gleefully announce when they do because I know what kind of brain dead SJW nonsense is coming next.
Also, if you look at the student PR projects in these colleges, you'll perfectly understand why we're seeing such moronic decisions in the professional world.
At Syracuse University, I saw a student PR project regarding a lower class minority school that had high truancy and low retention rates. What was the proposed solution? More social media outreach from the school and more bus transportation. They also refused to bring attention to what the family makeup looked like for the students in this district. The one example they illustrated was a working/middle class nuclear family.
Yea I made mention of not watching on r/baseball. Of course I got shat on and accused of racism. All from one sentence "I wont be watching." So unless you tow the lefty line you're a filthy mongrel not worthy of an opinion. These same shit bags are concerned year after year of dwindling attendance. Does shitting on the flag bring anyone's dollars towards their coffers?
If only 1000 people tune out. Thats a 1000 that they'll have a hard time roping back in. Majority of their fans are older as well, who do you think would be more pissed and have the means to effect their bottom line? Little 18 year old pissant on reddit or middle aged old goat with some green to spend?
NFL is done for me. I’ll give baseball a chance. But first Yankee cuck that kneels, bye bye, go home to mommy!
They kneeled yesterday, if I’m not mistaken.
Yup, giants kneeled yesterday. Take a look at the MLB instagram account too, if you want even more of a reason not to watch. No Fourth of July post, but near daily posts on BLM
They need to be shown that this is a bad idea. Not just MLB, but all companies that do this. Picking the wrong side has consequences.
Instead of MLB staying out of it when players vocalized that baseball shouldnt be politicized, MLB rallied to the kneeling Giants defense.

The MLB Instagram account posted this and got a shitton of likes and people calling out Trump in the comments
They said it was because of police brutality, which is the dumbest argument for "systematic racism" as it can easily be disproven
Couldn’t believe it I was outraged yeah I expect nfl to do it but the mlb LITERALY PROMOTED IT ON ITS INSTAGRAM I’m fucking disgusted. Never watching these scumbags ever again
MLB put out this statement, endorsing kneeling during the National Anthem

Notnonly that but mlb official Twitter is out promoting the fact that they’ve got kneelers
So disappointed. Most stood but a couple knelt including the lame new coach. Crawford stood with hands on the shoulders of kneeling team mates which I thought was classy
Say bye bye to baseball buddy.
Yep. I tried to watch the Cubs and Sox Sunday night, and it sucked. I might have been ok if I could have heard Len and JD, but the espn broadcast bored me to tears.

Kneeling resides in the mlb? Hell no to watching that then.

Also, I have zero desire to see the commentators faces and their home offices. Brutal. Pump in video game crowd noise and shut up. Lol
i got mlbtv, but ONLY because tmobile comped it. Looks to me like baseball is going the way of nfl.

I believe you but I'd still like to go there once since I haven't been.
I did go to a spring training game at Sloan Park in February, and it's very nice (except the pricy beer).
Dude baseball looks boring, but going to a game is not. It's 180 minutes of boredom punctuated by crowd-raving moments of excitement.
And beer. And hotdogs.
well at least some markets won't notice a difference between home games ans this

Don't blame the Yankees, but the Super Fag Giants kneeled yesterday and it was touted and approved by MLB:

BLM is a modern day racket.... bow to BLM for "protection" from the woke SJW mob.
Unfortunately, professional sports has been pretty much completely subverted by the Left, just like the media and entertainment.
The best way to stop it is to boycott it.
Hit them where it hurts: their bottom line.

Pieces of shit.
And find new and better things to enjoy. Fuck these giant corporations ... I mean, non-profit charities.
