Admittedly, I find the constant referrals to MLKJr. by conservative whites a bit tedious and over-done. Yes, it's a great message, but it's become cliche and ineffective -- many of the woke hate MLKJr. and the message of "content of character" now.
It might be time to try brutal honesty (verbal brutal honesty by the way -- I'm not supporter of violence and would still hope it could be avoided) and see if that causes some to come to their senses.
