Places we have been to: Breakfast - Annie's Mimosa or Sweetie Pies Lunch/Dinner - Allez (Diamond Springs) is #1, and the Independent (Placerville) is good too.
Ok next time you are up here, go to Apple Bistro. It’s at the top of Placerville going up 50. It has a view of the airport and a beautiful balcony you can watch planes take off and land all breakfast! And the owner is BASED AF! She recently kicked a woman out of the restaurant because she was wearing a mask. She legit had a sign out front that says you are only allowed in without a mask. Love the woman.

When I travel I always avoid spending money in the bigger cities and save my money to spend in the local smaller towns. They're all trump supporters.
Watch out! There's a buncha red necks up in those hills! They like to go wheeling and shoot guns. They will absolutely threaten you with a good time.

This place is my favourite place to visit for days on end. Great escape from the crazy bay area way of thinking. I'll be sad not to visit anymore if my plans to move to Texas happens though, but I'll be happy to move my tech work XP to a free state.
Hang town, baby. I’ve never met a leftist in Placerville, only former liberals. Also, Sacramento county next door is not as crazy as you think. It’s been down the middle for a long time and lately people have been LOUD Trump supporters. I would say the county is politically diverse. I have personally never seen one ounce of support for the governor though.
