Uniparty is real.

95% of these people fully support the destruction of our country, even the Republicans. Apparently they've all been promised a small pittance and that was worth it to them. What other explanation is there?

227
Edward_Teach 227 points ago +230 / -3

It has always amazed me how quickly everyone forgot how rotten, two-faced and cowardly the Republican party acted leading up to the election through 2018.

Only until could they throw their hands in the air and blame the democrat party for things, did they even halfway pretend to have a spine.

American politics is a shell game.

My aunt was saying today that she wants to get ready for if there are power outages leading up to or on election day.

The uniparty voted 196-0 in the House against impeachment?

The uniparty voted 52-1 in the Senate against removal from office?

The uniparty in the Senate confirmed both Neil Gorsuch and Bret Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, amid the deafening demonic shrieks of the underworld from the left-wing nutjobs?

The uniparty in the Senate confirmed nearly 300 federal judges deliberately handpicked by Trump to uphold the Constitution rather than legislate from the bench?

How easy would it have been in the case of the judges to flex those uniparty muscles?

User name checks out? :)

Look I'm just saying, parroting the word uniparty when it doesn't fit the facts and is actually embarrassing to the facts gets us nowhere IMHO

Why it matters

Besides the obvious, the only thing that matters is retaking the House and holding the Senate. If we don't get the House it's another four years of obstruction, impeachment, gridlock. God help us if we don't hold the Senate too: Trump will be removed from office illicitly as part of the ongoing coup d'état. A Constitutional crisis awaits if we don't get this right. So:

What's more likely to get Republicans instead of dems elected to the House and Senate in Nov.?

(a) Fostering the idea in the mind of the voters that it doesn't really matter if they vote Republican, or at all, because uniparty, so why bother? Or

(b) drawing a clear and unmistakable distinction in voters' minds between republicans and democrats (hardcore Marxist socialists)—plus creating a sense of urgency to get out and vote for the former in all congressional races?

We are the news now

Holy shit yes. And soon as they lost 2018, they spent a few weeks up until the holidays trying to "get things done" When Trump won, I told my wife - the GOP has 2 years to undo a lot of this. If they don't, they get what they deserve and they're dead to me. Unless they are like Trump, I'll only vote R to keep a D out of office.

18
MaxineWaters4Prez 18 points ago +18 / -0

And that's the biggest problem. We all vote R because anything is better than a D. But the R's are just camouflaged D's.

2

43
Art-Vandelay41 43 points ago +43 / -0

That’s why the whole system has to change. The Founders understood that being a public servant meant just that. You had already spent your whole life on your career, you made your money and now you wanted to give back through government servitude.

Somewhere along the way, the government stopped working for people and people started working for the government. Career politicians getting fat off the government teat.

It’s gotta change, and Trump is a great start.

I do agree, there are others, but if Biden wins, and we lose both the House and the Senate, it will get very ugly, very quickly. In ways heretofore unseen.

We just can't sit back and let them create more bullshit stress and anxiety. We need to stay calm and focused. Talk to your friends. WE ALL NEED TO VOTE, early and OFTEN!!! (KIDDING!!!)

17
Art-Vandelay41 17 points ago +17 / -0

Honestly I don’t think we Donaldians should vote early this election. If we vote early it gives the Democrats time to calculate how minimally they can cheat by to win. We need to overwhelm the polls on November 3rd and then if they cheat it’s obvious and sloppy. If they don’t, we easily win.

13
IthoughtIwalked 13 points ago +13 / -0

Speaking of finding like-minded people, that's exactly why they wanted us gone from Reddit, and why they will try all they can to shut us down here.

The left wants us to not be vocal in public due to fear of being ridiculed by the media or shot in the street by an angry leftist, but we can congregate online and express ourselves and recognize that we are not alone. Then, we can start to feel confident expressing ourselves offline because we know there are pedes everywhere. We've been quiet in this war for quite a while, but Trump is teaching us how to win, and we will fight back.

I do not believe this is a coincidence. Three years ago, I was banned from Twitter along with THOUSANDS of other conservatives, for things that were a tiny fraction of statements made to me by leftist accounts that stayed up long after (if not permanently). My first response was to just repeatedly create new accounts through various means. The very moment my fifth and final Twitter account was banned, the shitty old AT&T phone I used simultaneously bricked. I still have that bricked phone sitting here to this day, and I would loooove to find out AT&T somehow bricked my phone upon a Twitter staffer's request. Since those days, I've had real-life friends with similar experiences.

I then thought, "Fuck Twitter! I'm going to get DOZENS of $10 ebay burner phones, along with sims, and smear the living fuck out of them 24/7!" I then got bored, decided they weren't worth all of that effort and that everyone should get off Silicon Valley social media anyway. Three years later, conservatives are STILL getting abused while trying to play nice with those fucking miscreants.

The Cellular Telecommunications Industry, which represents mobile phone groups, did not say why they blocked the president’s messaging service, but said in a statement, “We expect all senders — whether airlines, schools, banks or campaigns — to include clear opt-out language and gain prior consent before sending a text.”

“These simple steps help protect consumers from spam and maintain text messaging as a trusted medium for everyone,” the group added.

Did they hire spez?

Prot tip for eveyrone, always send STOP ALL, not just STOP. STOP ALL (should) removes your number from all text lists a company may have you on. Replying STOP goes to an automated system. While they might have a system built in place to detect the response as a living person, I doubt it would add you to a "random generated robocall" list like another user said.

I have tried (with the DNC and related):

"Still Voting Trump"

Or how their candidate is shit. Or about the Second Amendment. Or about (literally) goblins (Goblin Slayer themed). None seem to have worked.

Once tried how Hillary was going to ban marijuana and sent some stuff from the marijuana version of the "Draft our Daughters" spoof. They actually responded to that text with a chain of texts.

With that said, I was getting many Trump and related texts a day asking for money (generally from different numbers do not possible to block locally). Which did get annoying. When I give the Trump or other campaigns money (and I do), it is not due to a text. I would have liked an easy option to limit the number of political texts to no more than a couple a week (absent something special going on).

3
ADAM_SCHITT 3 points ago +3 / -0

4
HeavenlyTrumpets 4 points ago +4 / -0

Thats why they are telling local LE to stand down. They want the feds to come in, makes excellent "muh gestapo" propaganda and if they are lucky, get a good shooting incident.

Right now the feds are only protecting federal property but soon people will be begging for them to take over entire cities as the mob violence continues. Once federal police on the streets is commonplace, the left can then co-opt them for the new People's Republic.

It’s past time to go to war, it’s time to call in the artillery and utilize Anti-Trust laws that will break these conglomerates back into smaller companies again. President Trump needs to provide direct incentives to new companies that could challenge the current telecommunications companies by providing no interest loans and a reduced corporate tax rate that could prompt more entrepreneurship than he already he has done in other industries. We shouldn’t have to be gaslit by companies that promote a unilateral agenda.

Yes, they are trying to push and push for exactly this. Keep pushing til conservatives kill everyone. If conservatives don't kill everyone by showing restraint then you have a police state where conservatives have no power. Win win for them

I have never received a text from any leftist/Dem ever. Guess they know better.

I do get local election mail inserts from them, since I do vote (red) every time no matter what it is.

Politico reported that the decision was allegedly not made by Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T to cancel the president’s messaging platform; instead, the companies contend that third-party administrators that monitor their text messaging services blocked the campaign messages. The administrators insist that they were following the guidelines established by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry (CTI). The major telecoms shut down the Trump campaign’s messaging during a test run on the Fourth of July, potentially costing the campaign a large number of donations from supporters.

13
latetotheparty 13 points ago +13 / -0

I assume that "CTI" is a real organization... and therefore has some sort of Board of Directors and/or management personnel. The decision to block comms was most likely the act of human beings - not AI. If they are humans, they probably have names. If they violated any laws in the process of promoting this, they should rightfully be charged. At the least, they should be exposed as culpable parties. I wouldn't suggest doxxing, however... (or would I?)

8
chuckachookah 8 points ago +9 / -1

I have been digging on this today.

It's actually the CTIA (ctia.org). It looks like a group that the carriers have put together to control text spam (good). It looks like, somehow (?), they are connected to the FCC (not completely clear) It looks like the CTIA uses another company (i Connective, iConnectv, iConnectiv...name, still digging) to help administer complaints.

Not sure it's something fucky, but seems swampy.

So, thus far, it looks like this...

  • FCC farmed out it's authority to the carriers
  • The carriers set up an "industry group" (CTIA) to do the admin and regulate
  • CTIA farmed out the admin and regulation to a private company (i Connective)
  • Someone at hired company is a blue-haired, fat Kunty Karen and has abused their delegated power

The FCC Chairmen (Ajit Pai) should have the CEO and the person that made this decisions in his offer this afternoon and by the end of the day, there should be an apology from this private company for, ya know, INTERFERING IN ELECTIONS.

Fucking hell.

7
IndyTrumper 7 points ago +8 / -1

Actually, having read the article, they have a point. For instance, I use my google voice number when filling out anything online that requires your phone number. Every time I vote for Trump in one of his polls, without my consent, I get multiple text messages on that number from the campaign. I never "opted" in, and they are very frequently sent. A simple "type stop" to opt out is the only language they need to add to overcome this. IMHO don't shoot this pede!

3
chuckachookah 3 points ago +4 / -1

I have been digging into this today and, what you said might be true too but there is likely some language in the "I agree" that permitted the text (I'll pause so everyone can consider that "Terms of Service" seems fine when Facebook, Twitter, and social media are pissing all over your freedom of speech in the digital "public square") that allows for some follow up. And, looks like replying with "stop" removes you from these list and most people that have a cell phone and have used text messages (so, like, all people) have figured that out.

BUT, there is still some swampy DC bullshit going on too because I have only ever signed up for texts from the main Trump text system.

Please see my post above thread about the players here: https://thedonald.win/p/GIuotDTM/x/c/141EiNKs8X

Here is some additional details:

  • I have only signed up through what is called a shortended code
  • the shortened code is the 88022 part of the Text TRUMP to 88022 sign up
  • When I signed up, I got the legalease
  • The legalease is similar to what I see when I agreed to get flight alerts from Delta/American/etc (I don't know/remember what its said, but whatevs.. "Yes, I want these messages" is what that meant)
  • Now get Trump campaign and I GOP text messages that come from other numbers that are regular-looking numbers
  • To me, still part of
  • But, these text messages come from regular looking phone numbers and most of their are toll-free (866, 844, etc)

It appears that the DC bullshit is that they are saying these regular looking phone numbers are different (somehow), but it looks like these regular-looking numbers are fairly new for sending out text messages (Trump team always seems to be at the leading edge, so it makes sense).

And, if you see my post above in thread, it looks like this is a private company that is actually regulating things on behalf of the FCC, which has farmed out the admin/regulation to this industry group called CTIA. So, FCC to the CTIA to the private company = someone at the private company hates Trump and is finding a way to INTERFERE WITH THE ELECTION (which everyone on the left used to be SOOO concerned about).

AND... it looks like Biden is using a similar system (has a shortened code; once you sign up; there are other regular-looking numbers that you'll get text messages from).

But, it's TRUMP that gets shut down on July 4th. It's TRUMP that is having a major aspect of normal everyday communication taken away from his campaign for what appears to be a) some iffy rules being interpreted by b) a no-name in an organization tied into the DC swamp that c) fucking hates Trump and is doing anything they can to take away his connection to the people.

YET AGAIN is a phrase we know because it repeated happens to Trump and Trump alone.

1
whocaresguy420 1 point ago +2 / -1

Need a STOP feature. I signed up awhile ago but have been getting texts too much. Caused me to drop something in my car. It's great and all but I get them too much, I am charging my phone while sitting down and have to get up to check it and inevitably it's from the campaign.

7
Kekintosh2020 7 points ago +7 / -0

Folks, it won't matter when Trump wins again, the corporations have decided they're only going to do the DNC's bidding. If it means not selling to people outside their cult or shutting off services, it doesn't matter. They're ALL IN IT TOGETHER.

Every infringement that even potentially hits elections needs to come with both criminal investigation against persons involved and fines on the company.

Their texting program is straight up spam anyway. Whoever is in charge of it treats us like we are stupid. It has probably received legitimate complaints. Went back and checked two months of messages and it does not include the required opt out language in the initial message. This is the kind of crap they send:

"im activating a short term triple match for you only xxxx." "pres trump chose you as the no.1 person for this, xxxx." "you were 1 of 20 chosen to get early access to sign pres trumps official birthday card" "trump gold card: president trump recognized you as being in the top 1pct of all text members. why is your membership still inactive." "your 2020 membership expires in 5 hours" "trump is upping the stakes, 5x matched for one hour" "president trump only chose 100 patriots for a special end of month 3x match, you were 1 of 100"

However, they should be blocking Biden and Bernie too. Did they?

3

I'm not gonna lie, I donated a ton a couple months ago, and I probably get 3-4 texts a day from 2 different campaign numbers asking me to donate and get in on these LIMITED TIME OPPORTUNITIES TO MEET THE PRESIDENT IF I DONATE IN THE NEXT 12 HOURS.

It's super annoying but I get it...I guess.... You would think they had me down as someone who already donated an ass load and would only text me for events near me... They don't even include opt out instructions or anything.
