Repeal fucking 230. How long does the republican senate count on being neutered and ineffective?

Modus_Pwninz 356 points ago +356 / -0

Uniparty is real.

95% of these people fully support the destruction of our country, even the Republicans. Apparently they've all been promised a small pittance and that was worth it to them. What other explanation is there?

Edward_Teach 227 points ago +230 / -3

It has always amazed me how quickly everyone forgot how rotten, two-faced and cowardly the Republican party acted leading up to the election through 2018.

Only until could they throw their hands in the air and blame the democrat party for things, did they even halfway pretend to have a spine.

American politics is a shell game.

The uniparty voted 196-0 in the House against impeachment?

The uniparty voted 52-1 in the Senate against removal from office?

The uniparty in the Senate confirmed both Neil Gorsuch and Bret Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, amid the deafening demonic shrieks of the underworld from the left-wing nutjobs?

The uniparty in the Senate confirmed nearly 300 federal judges deliberately handpicked by Trump to uphold the Constitution rather than legislate from the bench?

How easy would it have been in the case of the judges to flex those uniparty muscles?

User name checks out? :)

Look I'm just saying, parroting the word uniparty when it doesn't fit the facts and is actually embarrassing to the facts gets us nowhere IMHO

Why it matters

Besides the obvious, the only thing that matters is retaking the House and holding the Senate. If we don't get the House it's another four years of obstruction, impeachment, gridlock. God help us if we don't hold the Senate too: Trump will be removed from office illicitly as part of the ongoing coup d'état. A Constitutional crisis awaits if we don't get this right. So:

What's more likely to get Republicans instead of dems elected to the House and Senate in Nov.?

(a) Fostering the idea in the mind of the voters that it doesn't really matter if they vote Republican, or at all, because uniparty, so why bother? Or

(b) drawing a clear and unmistakable distinction in voters' minds between republicans and democrats (hardcore Marxist socialists)—plus creating a sense of urgency to get out and vote for the former in all congressional races?

We are the news now

It was, at one point, called the Democrat-Republican party. I think they merged back together during the Clinton administration.

11
Assault-Covfefe 11 points ago +11 / -0

Holy shit yes. And soon as they lost 2018, they spent a few weeks up until the holidays trying to "get things done" When Trump won, I told my wife - the GOP has 2 years to undo a lot of this. If they don't, they get what they deserve and they're dead to me. Unless they are like Trump, I'll only vote R to keep a D out of office.

18
MaxineWaters4Prez 18 points ago +18 / -0

And that's the biggest problem. We all vote R because anything is better than a D. But the R's are just camouflaged D's.

Most Republicans are scared shitless of the media targeting them so they slink around in the shadows like cowards keeping their positions and lofty lifestyles in exchange for letting the Dems take over. They aren't fighting for anything besides themselves and their bank accounts.

That’s why the whole system has to change. The Founders understood that being a public servant meant just that. You had already spent your whole life on your career, you made your money and now you wanted to give back through government servitude.

Somewhere along the way, the government stopped working for people and people started working for the government. Career politicians getting fat off the government teat.

It’s gotta change, and Trump is a great start.

Underrated comment, and so painfully true.

You would never guess a Democrat once said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."

They are not scared...They just use these leftists as an excuse to be cowardly.

Republicans will defend MIC to the death, even these supposed "antiwar" liberals were against them for that reason.

I suspect they are being lobbied to do absolutely nothing by the corporations

Uniparty Isreal

Modus_Pwninz 10 points ago +11 / -1

I don't much understand the anti-American shit Israel does. We literally fund their entire country's existence and they're surrounded by Muslim nations that they will never, ever be able to reason with or destroy.

You'd think they'd be a genuine ally, but they're not.

The Donald scares the living shit out of 95% of the politicians out there, be they democrat, republican or "other".

I believe he is our last hope at stopping the "progress" towards Marxism.

I do agree, there are others, but if Biden wins, and we lose both the House and the Senate, it will get very ugly, very quickly. In ways heretofore unseen.

We just can't sit back and let them create more bullshit stress and anxiety. We need to stay calm and focused. Talk to your friends. WE ALL NEED TO VOTE, early and OFTEN!!! (KIDDING!!!)

IthoughtIwalked 13 points ago +13 / -0

Speaking of finding like-minded people, that's exactly why they wanted us gone from Reddit, and why they will try all they can to shut us down here.

The left wants us to not be vocal in public due to fear of being ridiculed by the media or shot in the street by an angry leftist, but we can congregate online and express ourselves and recognize that we are not alone. Then, we can start to feel confident expressing ourselves offline because we know there are pedes everywhere. We've been quiet in this war for quite a while, but Trump is teaching us how to win, and we will fight back.

A locally encrypted/decrypted messaging app where the server can never see an unencrypted version of your message.

I do not believe this is a coincidence. Three years ago, I was banned from Twitter along with THOUSANDS of other conservatives, for things that were a tiny fraction of statements made to me by leftist accounts that stayed up long after (if not permanently). My first response was to just repeatedly create new accounts through various means. The very moment my fifth and final Twitter account was banned, the shitty old AT&T phone I used simultaneously bricked. I still have that bricked phone sitting here to this day, and I would loooove to find out AT&T somehow bricked my phone upon a Twitter staffer's request. Since those days, I've had real-life friends with similar experiences.

I then thought, "Fuck Twitter! I'm going to get DOZENS of $10 ebay burner phones, along with sims, and smear the living fuck out of them 24/7!" I then got bored, decided they weren't worth all of that effort and that everyone should get off Silicon Valley social media anyway. Three years later, conservatives are STILL getting abused while trying to play nice with those fucking miscreants.

I’ve been waiting for fuckery from the phone carriers. Looks like that’s coming soon.

“Sorry, you post on racist websites! Phones shut down. Your business numbers were sold to your competition! Have a nice day!”

This is not going to change until patriots rise up. The repubs are not going to be safe either and they know they are fucked if it reaches the point that people will no longer take their corruption.

6
vote_for_MAGA_2020 6 points ago +6 / -0

Part of the problem is the media. Plenty of conservatives do speak up, but then the media doesn’t report on them.

8
GorillaWarfare 8 points ago +8 / -0

All of the problem is the media. The enemy wouldn't be able to get away with any of this shit without "The News" acting as their faithful propagandists.

MLGS 12 points ago +12 / -0

The Republicans in the Senate know exactly what they're doing.
