On the flip side, maybe you should have made sure your children were smart enough to stay away from an obviously dangerous area. Bad parenting.

The police DO NOT have an obligation to protect you. They can stand by and do nothing as you are assaulted.

i can see this as well.

but the issue at hand for me is knowing how much footage there is of the violence

and the mayor acting like they were all out for a picnic.

Are you saying you obeyed everything your parents told you to do or not do?

It's weird that person was so quick to jump on the bad parenting angle when the Mayor, who should be serving the town she was elected to serve, told the police to leave a 6 square block area in downtown so it could be taken over by an anti-American group that claimed they were their own country and then proceeded to destroy buildings, vandalize the city, shake down businesses for "protection" money, allow Americans to be robbed, beaten, and killed with no recourse for a justice or court system for WEEKS.

But oh, yeah, let that happen. Don't dare try to sue politicians that allowed a city to be overrun and ordered police to stand down. Just blame parents and call it a day.

Look, parenting plays a part, I can't assume what she did and did not do. It's pretty apparent about the Mayor what she is liable for.

I agree 100%.

Teach them to be smart? I've seen little evidence this is possible from all psychometric studies I've read. Or perhaps you think there is value for parents to chain up their 19 year old children? I'm tired of all this parent-blaming shit.

Bankrupting these out-of-control cities might be the only way to force change. More people, especially victims of riots, should be suing their cities.

Honestly, a lot of urban businesses support the riots (or at least say they do). I've seen several companies put out ads like "It's just broken glass guys, human life is more important." It's like some new form of stockholm syndrome.

When those people said that, they assumed their insurance would cover it... many of these preening retards learned much later that wasn't the case. They'll try to get their money back, the whole point behind virtue signaling is that it costs you nothing.

How are you gonna sue them for the Summer of Love?

Patriots should hop on this and help this woman and show that the lives of innocent people, no matter their color, have value and that we support any American in seeking justice for wrongful deaths. We have to jump on the chance to bridge the divide that democrats are driving between the different groups in this country.

Which maybe would cause them to re-think their politics...

If a commercial property owner can be held liable for what happens to a 3rd party in their parking lot at night if they don't comply with local lighting ordinances why not politicians???
