This is like the Chernobyl incident... in so far as construction for short term gains, cuts corners and ignores risks of flood scenarios! hopefully for the residents downstream its somewhat managed well enough to avoid deaths

The ccp stated that there was some warping, movement, and leaks in the dam but it's all within tolerance. They go on to say that the dam is structurally sound.
