I work in a grocery store. The most frustrating part of this whole pandemic has been the left's constant call to shut down. These people are not referring to me or my fellow coworkers. These people wish to stay home and be safe from the wuflu while collecting a government check. They scream about safety while heaping fake praise on us. Shove your "hero" talk up your ass. Go to work.

yep. they think us hiding from the virus is going to make it go away.

and yes, I hate all the "muh front line workers/essential workers" shit too. They're only "essential" because you said they were and they perform a function that we need. I guarantee there's a certain percentage of the nursing community that walks into, say, Starbucks or Dunkin on their day off in scrubs and expects a discount, or someone telling them how brave they are or "thanking them for what they do".

They just perform a job like everyone else. They chose that profession, no one forced it on them. They're not more worthy of praise than anyone else.

Every job is essential. Every person is essential. The bad and the good. We're all part of the light and the dark.
