Any Indian pedes here? Why are there so many Indians who love Trump? I don't really understand so I'd appreciate any explanation.
I think it's because indians are pretty successful under POTUS's policies in America. More successful on average than whites in fact. There's also the fact that it's a democracy just like us and we both hate china and see the threat posed by communists clearly. Indians also don't like islam I think because the islamic conquests left a lot of them dead throughout history.
Personally I think they would be a really cool ally but they hurt us really badly with H1B visas which take jobs away from American graduates and depress wages. So I'd be willing to see them as the best ally we can have in Asia BUT the H1B and job outsourcing nonsense needs to stop ASAP
Agreed. US born indian right here. We hate H1B system. Indians who are americans recognize completely the immigration system fucks everyone. They have it solely inplace for neo-slavery and wage supression
Indian pede right here. I made an introductory post a few weeks ago when i made an act. My dad and mom came here and became entrepreneurs, and my sister and I are born in US citizens.
Essentially what it is indians of my parents generation got employed in shitty jobs like gas stations, motels, dunkin donuts etc when they came. Eventually saved up enough to buy them and came to love america because they became rich the right way.
Indians arent very politically active, but once they do become aware, become republican because they see in their gas stations and motels, people who abuse government services like food stamps and supplemental income. They get the mind set of "oh i did all this work and they get my free money"
My dad never voted before and voted in 2016 first time for trump because his friends woke him up. Same thing with me and my mom, now we'll be first time voters this fall for trump.
Republicans and indians have a shared hatred to government services, mass immigration, and china. We haaaaate china. The indian people litterally banned all chinese apps(60+), made indian counterparts, and started burning all chinese goods in the streets.
It might be hard to imagine immigrants disliking immigration, but we see the abuse being done and the way it is now isnt the way my parents era ones got in.

Np man. Are you college educated? I study CS and math and will be starting CS graduate school soon. One of the most important things I see for the future is having people with our general area of beliefs being STEM educated. Go get rich off industry, then seek ways to exploit internet communications the same way the left does
