In the service they have a charity drive annually. They give you a large booklet to choose from(its semi optional). The book breaks down how much each charity spends and what they spend it on. Most charities of all kinds give less than 5% to actual charity. I also donate to the DAV and the only other is the Salvation Army as they are generally great as well as far as spending their collections on actual charity.
Someone on another string reminded that NFL The Ticket auto renews and you have to opt out of it by end of July or you will pay for another season. I totally forgot that and cancelled my auto renew. Lifelong Steeler fan of 50 years and I am done with the NFL this year. I won’t watch a snap, no Fantasy league, nothing. It gives me a lot of time back.
The XFL was looking good until the "forced" covid lockdown. I hope the NFL concedes having a season and McMahon steps up his game to fill that fall schedule while leaching players from the NFL who don't believe in cancel culture and virtue kneeling. The XFL has stayed out of politics so far as they have promised to do. Wouldn't an exodus be nice?
Won't happen unfortunately. It's a shame though I liked the two forward pass rule really shook up the tactics involved. Only real criticism I had was the conversion rules. I didn't like that there was no kick conversion. I would have done it Kick conversion 1pt, throw from the 5yd line for 2 pnts and throw from the 10yd line three.
I liked the idea of different point conversions. In addition I would have added a +35yd field goal kick bonus.

NFL pushed hard on "we love 'Murica" last year and saw a slight rebound in ratings from the cratering after Kaepernick, but they are still bleeding viewers actually sitting through and watching games. Lots of people have switched to Redzone or just watch the nearly instantaneous highlights to save time.
It is painful to sit through and watch a single game with the amount of ads these days, and the ridiculous and transparent manipulation by the refs has become a complete joke. Remember when even Tom Brady tweeted how the game was unwatchable?
And let's not forget the porn show put on by the 50 year old "singers" at the SB this year; that turned a lot of people off, and SB ratings have been on the steady decline since the infamous Patriots-Seahawks SB 49.
