I don't honestly know what to say. Hi?
My husband asked me a couple weeks ago... Probably close to a month actually, if I had taken the red pill. I had said no. I have been pretty in the middle most of my adult life. But after listening to the words coming out of left politicians recently. I just can't stomach it anymore. From banning church gathering to stopping police from doing their jobs to letting a bunch of basement babies run a muck. I am just done with the left. Dems have gone to far to the left and I simply can not follow.
I am sick of watching the country I love burn because of left politicians can't work with the man that the people of the country voted for. It really threw a wrench in their machine. Can't wait to vote for Trump in November.
I have been lurking around here since reddit banned my favorite subreddit. So I'm looking forward to learning the lingo and letting all this pent up stress out. Thanks for letting me get this out.

My wife initially did not like the term “red pill”. She thought it was condescending and not an effective way to get across a point to the opposition. That was 5 years ago. She laughs now when I mention crushing up red pills like chili powder and adding it to the crockpot to serve to our guests. But really, you’ll educate yourself more on this site than anywhere else.

I used to peddle their sayings like "but voter ID is racist!", and thought I really believed it (there's is nothing more racist than assuming black Americans can't get an ID for whatever reason, I now realize). r/rightwinglgbt. It was nice to actually talk to people. Had some really good conversations. But also a good "fight" or two. Someone told me that getting rid of the police would not cause a "Mad Max" style society. I wonder what they would say now. Mind you it was a lefty troll not a sub regular.
so were you right wing and lgbt or was that just a sub you liked?
It was really just more of a sub I liked. Lots of people unsure how to come out as conservatives, wanting to know more about religion, trying to find like minded people politically. Stuff like that. The right leaning LGBT people really are... what's the right word... fearful to be right leaning. It is really sad. They really need support. An outlet that let them just say what they needed to say. Also, it was nice to be able to ask questions about LGBT issues without being labeled or yelled at or just deleted. Most people really do just want to live their lives.
I was only curious because you said you were new to the red pill (and middle or the road before that) and that you had a husband so I was unclear as to why you would be on a LGBT or right wing sub.
It's good to understand where people come from a and they were fun to talk to. I enjoy talking to anyone about politics that are willing to have an actual conversation. They had a unique view on things.
If your wondering why i decided to finally take the plunge, I heard with my own ears today what politicians in Oregon have said recently. It just made me sick. I was already tired of the crap coming out of NYC, Seattle and California. Then to let a city burn for almost two months. It is just ridiculous. I didn't vote for Trump in 2016, but I am going to in November. I don't want to see this country burn. I don't want to see the United become un-united. I don't want to see us plunged into Marxism. I don't want to see the body count rise. I am helpless in all this turmoil. So if all I have is a vote, I am going to shout it from the sky.
Sorry, I am rambling here. Hopefully that clears things up for you a bit. If not, I will try to be more clear
Thanks for the explanation. I'm in Portland and it's pretty ridiculous how skewed the perceptions are and then I talk to people in the suburbs and they aren't even aware of what's going on nightly downtown.
That's sad. I'm in Colorado. I knew stuff was happening but I didn't know the extent of it until recently. If you are okay with it, I'll be sure to pray for you. I can't imagine what it is like there for you. I have three kids and if my city had that happening I wouldn't stay. But I understand that isn't an option for everyone. Even though there have been protests where I am, they haven't gotten too bad. Just some "protestors" blocking the highway. Nothing like what has happened in Denver. And definitely not what is going on up there.

Welcome! My husband had been a pede for a long time but I remained independent even during Trump's first year. I had never been a fan of his, I still cringe at many things he says and tweets, but when I stepped back and looked at his actions and their results, I found myself agreeing. A lot.
Then I looked to the left, where there used to be an open-minded forum for discussing ideas. That is gone and what remains is unrecognizable to me. The choice in November is between free American capitalism and Marxism. That's all, the rest is theater.
