I don't condone extraordinary violence...but I can look the other way. (remember: I said spare the cross and just use posts...like lamp posts, street lights...we've got plenty of posts already, waste not want not).
Crucifixion was the most dishonorable death. Deuteronomy 21: 22-23.
22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:
23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
THIS is the symbol of the Cross, that the Most Holy should suffer the worst fate in the stead of those who deserved it. Every sinner, fallen, rebellious against God, deserves the fate of the cross. Without the context, the Curse of the Cross, then the act of mercy performed ON the Cross, by the savior, has no power. Maybe it's time for people to be reminded of what that curse is.
The verse was put in place to prefigure the concept which would eventually be fulfilled via Christ's crucifixion. The bible does this, earlier pictures of things which will be fulfilled much, much later.
Break them on the wheel. Then their religious symbol for their new martyrs of the religion of Woke will be a nice round wheel with spokes. I don't think there's any other present day religion with that symbol (even the Yin-Yang ball can be distinguished since it doesn't have spokes). Therefore, they don't muscle out any existing religion.
Or just use the posts we've already got -- no need killing perfectly nice, innocent trees to make crosses for these bastards -- we need to start recycling and being green you know!
C'mon brother, you've seen some of those land whales...you seriously think a pike is going to hold that up?
Nah, we're going to need other alternatives for some of these jackholes...immurement, perhaps? Romans and Mongols both liked that one.
Eh, let's not sully the symbol of a cross. How about just a plain old post?
How about free helicopter rides? It's what Caesar would have done if the Romans were a little more technologically advanced.

Caesar would totally have loved some of our tech.

I'm no theologian or history bro, but your text is not about Roman crucification, but Jewish capital punishment laws, two very different things.

Dharma wheels, let's not offend Hindus, Buddhists, or Jains.
Nuts, figures I left someone out. Got to ask my conservative Hindu friend about Hindu symbols.
We could shoot them, then. Then they can worship the gun, and maybe support the NRA.
Nah, blood eagles. Thor's sacred color is red.

I get what you mean. Just a Fallout: New Vegas reference.
Ah, I'm too old for video games -- won't ever get a reference to those.
Perhaps public blood eagles? Are those in any video games?
Blood eagles? What’re those?

And they should feel honored; it was used for royalty!
Is there a pike shortage?
