Micah Johnson shot 6 cops in Dallas and he was a veteran. There are shitty people that serve.

We used to call them the 10%.

90% of the folks you will serve with are fine people. It's the other 10% that ruin it for everyone else.

I thought they were letting the ones that already got in continue to serve? Regardless, I'm glad I wasn't around for that drama.

We have Antifa supporting commies in my small town that are vets. Some of the most notorious assassins, terrorists, and criminals in our country's history were vets.

Gulleyfoyleismyname 42 points ago +42 / -0

Lee Harvey served in the USMC.

I have issues with ANY pol pushing their service hard.

The harder they push it the more lefty pinko faggoty they are going to be.

REAL Patriots are proud of their service but won't rub it in your face constantly.

He literally covered for the Clintons taking millions from Chy-na

7
NotProgCensored 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yes he was the Clintons point man during the Chingate Senate investigations into them selling our military tech, including supercomputers to China. He immediately retired afterwards and was rewarded with another space flight.

19American62Woman 26 points ago +27 / -1

So true. One of the extreme liberals in my family is an Army vet. Claims to be an American Patriot yet actually tears up at the mention of Trump’s name. Just a note worth mentioning, every single extreme liberal family member goes to a psychiatrist every week and every one of them is on a multitude of pharmaceuticals. Pills to calm their anxiety attacks, anti depressants, anti depressant boosters, sleeping pills, etc. I’m the only conservative and older than dirt and no counseling or drugs. I think maybe I might be doing something right

The way I see it is you are cashing in your service when you use it to run for office. It's spent capital at that point and should no longer shield you, not that it ever should. I hate people that start an argument with "I'm a veteran", and I'm going to sound like a hypocrite, but I say that as a vet.

Just did Google and not surprising. The only thing surprising is how cheap politicians are. Throw a few hundred thousand at a campaign, defraud the Taxpaying people for billions. McCain was a turd. So I stand corrected, the VC should never have the pleasure of torturing him to death, even if it were for our ultimate benefit hypothetically. The Convenience does not warrant that concession. However We should dig up his rotting corpse and jettison it into a Chinese trash heap. Along with Jane Fonda.

Never ever ever wish torture upon our military personnel who are prisoners of war.

11
2KEK_Chigurh 11 points ago +18 / -7

With all due respect, fuck John McCain. He was not one of ours. I do not wish harm on any of our service people, and god rest the souls of those that didn’t make it back. But no amount of service or whatever else entitles that fucker to even a shred of dignity. When the real history is written In the future of America, McCain will be shown as worse than Benedict Arnold. That’s assuming the Chinese don’t write that history. How the fuck could you empower the people that fucking tortured you, just so you could make a few bucks? He spit in the face of everyone that served in Vietnam with his actions. There is a reason GEOTUS hated his traitorous guts.

-4
Trump2024 -4 points ago +7 / -11

I stand by my statement. You've never served your country in a military capacity, obviously, so maybe keep your opinion for websites where it's normal to hate our prisoners of war, ok? Nobody wants to hear your excitement to torture our military personnel. It's extremely low to wish torture on our POW's regardless of what an asshole they turn out to be.

9
LurkNoMore 9 points ago +11 / -2

Ten years, two tours here. McCain is used in our SERE training as an example of what NOT to do. He was the quintessential “son of a general” that was a fuckup his entire career. Many of his mistakes cost men their lives. He’s called songbird McCain due to his capitulation in the pow camp. It resulted in his being treated better at the expense of those not willing to spout Vietcong propaganda.

Nadal Hassan served too, are we unable to talk about him? Don’t give 2KEK shit just because he didn’t set foot in the sand.

All that said. I’m glad we have a forum where this discussion can take place.

7
2KEK_Chigurh 7 points ago +8 / -1

My dad and uncle both served and they hated his guts. I’m keeping it alive for their honor.

However on the POW front, I found it interesting that Stockdale could never throw McCain under the bus. If anyone truly had the right and moral high ground, it’s Stockdale. I also can’t believe the nerve of the left and journos when they attacked Stockdale back in the 90s. The dude cut his fucking scalp off to protect our right to talk shit. Props.

Thank you guys for your service, much respect. I love this place and I love the USA.

-2
Trump2024 -2 points ago +3 / -5

I am aware of all of "wet start" McCain's asshole issues. I will NOT be convinced by anyone that ANY of our POW's should be tortured more. Go ahead and give it your best shot. Describe how YOU would have liked to torture our POW's MORE. Try to sit back and look at how you are coming across to others as you are trying to convince us of how much more you'd like AMERICAN MILITARY POW'S to get more torture.

IN THIS THREAD WE HAVE PEOPLE THAT WISH MORE TORTURE UPON OUR POW'S. PATHETIC!

5
LurkNoMore 5 points ago +6 / -1

Will do. His statement was that we’d have been better off if the VC would have finished him off. I can’t argue against that. It would be like saying torturing Hitler to death in the 30’s would’ve been a bad idea. McCains actions led to more torture and harsher conditions for his fellow POWs. Do I agree with 2KEK? Fuck yes I do.

3
LurkNoMore 3 points ago +4 / -1

And for what it’s worth, your blanket statement about our military POWs and not wishing worse for them, I upvoted that shit. It’s when you get a chubby for McCain (nobody who wore the uniform should count him among us) that I have to disagree.

7
2KEK_Chigurh 7 points ago +8 / -1

I respect that. It’s why I love this place. Iron sharpens iron. I shall STFU.

7
LurkNoMore 7 points ago +8 / -1

Don’t! You don’t need to have ovaries to have an opinion about abortion, you don’t need to be a POC to have an opinion about race relations, and you don’t need to be a veteran to have an opinion about our military or a piece of shit former POW. Don’t bend the knee. Everyone needs to be reminded of McCain’s treason.

-4
Trump2024 -4 points ago +1 / -5

However you DO need to be a piece of shit to give aid and comfort to the enemy by encouraging them to torture an American POW to death. Military courts are to deal with traitors. Jane Fonda wannabe's are the only cunts that encourage torturing American POW's.

4
Trump2024 4 points ago +4 / -0

Respect to you as well.

4
lanre 4 points ago +4 / -0

He most likely killed dozens of men on his aircraft carrier because he was fucking around. I wouldn't shed a tear for the guy.

-1
Trump2024 -1 points ago +2 / -3

Hence my calling him "wet start" McCain. I'm aware of his being a total cunt.

I am against giving aid and comfort to the enemy by encouraging their increasing of torture to POW's that so many Jane Fonda wannabe's are doing in this thread.

2

He was in the Keating Five with McCancer and was Clinton's right hand during the Chinagate hearings. Pretty sure he knew what he was doing.

9
PepperJackButter2024 9 points ago +9 / -0

One of the Keating 5, just like McCain. I remember when this asshole held a $3 a plate dinner to mock the notion of paying back his multimillion dollar campaign debt from failed presidential runs. He took far more than he ever gave to this country, just like McCain.

7

A big problem with military men is they like to drink and can’t keep their dick in their pants. It makes them targets for blackmail.

John Kerry was a vet, and he has committed treason.

The list is pretty long.

4
sickofaltspin 4 points ago +4 / -0

He also used his Congressional privilege to have it stuck from the record that he did not support a bill which would require Congress to include the section and clause of the Constitution that gave them the authority for each new bill that "if we had to do that we wouldn't get half of the things we do here done."

3
2KEK_Chigurh 3 points ago +3 / -0

Radiation and high Gs melt these guys brains unfortunately. However it turned Buzz Aldrin super awesome. (As he punches me in the face )

3

God speed John Glenn

2
Unbounded1 2 points ago +3 / -1

You can respect their bravery, but that's usually how far it goes. Vets have a lot of psychological problems and I wouldn't really call them heroes of virtue.

3
WinstonSmith1984 3 points ago +3 / -0

"Vets have a lot of psychological problems"

This is a myth created by leftist media to push a narrative. Of course, SOME vets have some issues, just like non-Vets, but MOST are well adjusted, motivated people who live just fine.

2
StrongHarm 2 points ago +2 / -0

I started my military service as a left leaning clueless moderate. I ended my service as an informed conservative. If the military helps you to pull your head out of your ass enough to understand the importance of defending the Constitution.. but you still choose to support the party which rejects our Constitution.. you have bigger problems than a civilian liberal.

Yep, he paid his dues, became a hero, and then sold out to the highest bidder. Hard to blame someone for making money. But it's even harder to respect them for doing it. He sold out, and he has to own it.

Yuri Gagarin was the first man to orbit the Earth

Don't count those Russkies out man they might have ultimately lost the cold war but they did a lot of amazing things in their own right...like achieve equitorial orbit from that far north on analog navigational systems...not to mention beating us to the punch on EMP protection. And their orbital re-entry pods? Nuttin' but Russian

1
WildStar 1 point ago +1 / -0

Accomplishing firsts is pretty easy when you don't care how many people you kill to do it.

1
SimplePede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well think of it this way...the ISS is based on US and Soviet accomplishment, the Soviet side has a lot of death...so the ISS is built on a lot of death we don't really care about.

Arizona Pedes.. Mark Kelly is the same, gone the way of mcstain. He is a paid shill of chy-naa promised 400 jobs to Tucson in aerospace, satellite tech. Only one job so far, and that job has gone to his daughter! Millions of tax payer funds to build "World View" company. First the hype is as a space tourism, then (silently) to satellite tech. Funded by chi-com Tencent investments held by Mark Kelly. This guy is another Navy guy that sold the U.S. out for the filthy lucre of chy-naa, and THAT money has actually come from us the taxpayer!!
