Republican politicians won’t do anything. They are giant pussies. They expect Trump to do all the fighting.

Agreed. I keep seeing “a business owner can refuse you service for whatevs just go somewhere else”. The problem is their isn’t a fucking place I can go without the mask. Unlike the fucking faggots who were out LOOKING to start shit with one bakery that didn’t want to do it.

whatevs just go somewhere else

California reporting in. If anyone says this to me I’ll ask them where there’s a business in this time zone that doesn’t mandate a mask

Also most businesses indeed started doing this because of health department mandates and not wanting to get sued. If government and health department "orders" aren't there, mask mandates will also disappear. Libs know that too. They just want to pretend businesses all freely decided. They didn't.

They weren't happy with the "then go somewhere else" when the CO baker wouldn't bake a cake to celebrate a guy wedding.

This is actually the answer. The people are the only ones that hold the power to open up the country and reject masks & social conditioning. I believe despite any polls that this is what people want. And what's incredibly frustrating is that we could easily return to the normal way of life, if people just did so plain and simple.

The boogeyman scare tactics of the politicians and media would go away if people simply chose to move on. What are they going to do police the streets? Send in the military? Fine small businesses? I get the irony here but seriously....treat the media and pols like the bullies that they are and choose to move on. They will be mad and scream, but they will go away eventually, like any bully does.

Problem is leadership and messaging. Someone needs to say this starts now.

They don't need to police the streets to get people to comply, they already are. It's here, this is it, this is tyranny. And it won't go away until people stand up against it. It will only get worse and worse. Once people get used to masks, then it's vaccines. And microchips. And digital only money. No one is stopping it. 1 year ago if you told me that there would be mandatory lockdown orders in the USA for a virus less deadly than the flu, I would have called you an idiot. "The American people won't let that happen". But they did.

Mask mandates are working you say? July 2nd Texas statewide mask mandate for all counties with over 20 cases, so it applies to vast majority of Texans. 20 days later there has been no decrease in case numbers.

I'm pretty solidly in the camp that believes these case numbers are being fudged by the myriad entities reporting this to DSHS and Texas lacks the oversight (or will) to correct this. Abbott is content to let fear drive his policies and will bow to the democrats on this.

Guaranteed two things:

  1. Abbott will give in and issue an EO ordering all elections to be 100% mail-in.
  2. COVID cases will drop immediately after.

I have avoided the mask mandates too. That is until all grocery stores where I live started requiring masks, effectively giving me no choice. Spouse does most of the shopping, but it is highly impractical to completely avoid visiting these stores. I cannot wait until the election so that we can MAGA and KAG with impunity.

Not Kemp. The BLM mayor is suing him for invalidating her mask mandate. He also sent in the Guard to squash the riots each time, and opened up the state.

Actually, Kemp is suing her over the mask mandate and also rolling Atlanta back to phase I reopening. Apparently, this is not moving forward because the judge recused herself yesterday when trial was supposed to start. Kemp has done a great job, but these leftist mayors have fought him tooth and nail the entire way. Bottoms, who wants to be the VP pick, was out at the BLM protests without a mask. Then she supposedly caught CV. She is a hypocrite and a criminal. I hope Joe picks her for VP and gets her the hell out of our state.

She conveniently tested positive for COVID right after the little girl was shot by the Wendy's. Then the story about the little girl completely disappeared.

That's exactly right. Bottoms is a real piece of work. She and that corrupt DA have thrown the police under the bus, but having Governor Kemp there will keep us from becoming the Chicago of the south. Thank God.
